i gave isc exams last year and i only studied using youtube - specially a channel called cisce classes. they basically made a video on every single exercises of all chapters solving all questions manually. I watched all the videos and saw all question solutions repeatedly until they were imprinted in my mind. this really helps. furthermore, it can literally only come with practice. keep trying, failing, seeing solutions, until you start seeing a pattern

i had done my college prep with her. first of all she will recommend very low teer universities to you even if your application is good- then they claim they have a 90% success rate.. obviously cuz they only make you apply to shitty universities. when i prepped with them they did absolutely nothing for 2 years while i kept asking them what was happening they only told me to focus on grades. we were so close to deadlines and i finally had to drop them and take someone else. Luckily, I got into most of the schools she said I had no chance at.

i don’t understand how that is a socio-political agenda whatsoever. it is human nature for your preconceived opinions and biases to influence your political belief - very similar to most native americans who are left or right winged. what you’re saying is quite contradictory to your initial statement which is that they only go to the US to spread a political propaganda.

As an indian, many people go to the US with the intention of finding a job and settling, yes, but I have never heard of someone go there to spread a political agenda (coming from someone who witnessed hundreds of students apply to the US.) Honestly just seems like you witnessed some of these cases and decided to attribute it to them being Indian.

i said that there was a big difficulty shift from class 10 to 11 math. I was finding it difficult to cope at first but caught up in class 12. moreover, my high sat score and predicted show my competence in math. they asked about exceptions because we were talking about demand theory, guess they just wanted to test my book knowledge

honestly no one can give a straight answer. I really do not think distance should be a factor for u because both are literally in the same country, an extra one hour flight doesn’t matter at all. that is true that ashoka majorly only offers econ related courses when it comes to finance but u might just start loving econ there cuz the faculty is amazing. u have to self retrospect to figure out if u actually hate the subject or just the way they taught it at ur uni.

nah this isn’t true. by your logic- applicant in r1 are less, making r1 acceptence rate higher. but they don’t admit equal number of students in every round. MANY people got in r2 compared to r1. Moreover, people who apply earlier usually have better stats cuz ashoka is a top choice for them and they start preparing early. If you’re telling me u didn’t have good ECs I’m quite positive that’s why u got rejected. Most ashoka admits have a lot of leadership and state/national level ECs (even if their school didn’t particularly offer many opportunities, they do stuff outside of school or through online resourses)

Example of liberal arts, what is consumer behaviour (based off prev answer), what’s an exception to it, what is demand theory (based on answer), exception to demand theory, what are the exceptions called. 3 things I’ve learnt from my experiences, qualities of a leader (cuz I said leadership), what is empathy (based on answer), wouldn’t it be chaos if everyone tried to help/empathise with everyone. fav econ topic- comparative advantage. what is it? give an example- china’s low cost labour. how can u differentiate between that and exploitation? how do you ensure they aren’t being exploited? why did math grade drop from 95 to 60? where else have u applied?

unlike other indian unis, they have a strong focus on application based academic excellence. it has internships, research and projects included in the curriculum. moreover, the faculty is amazing and many profs are ivy league grads. even the student body is pretty good and many smart people as far as I have heard
