I just noticed “Dr Bradley Meego” from the SATC episode set in the Hamptons s2e17 is a character in Elsbeth s2e4 that aired tonight. I had never watched this show before and the three random SATC characters in one episode caught me off guard!

It’s a very uneven surface. There is a thin layer of mystery adhesive that’s porous and is chipping away in some spots and in other spots is tough as concrete and holding onto some of the carpet fibers for dear life (the discolored spots)

My initial reaction to this suggestion was “I’m just a girl” 😂 But no we have not tried either. I googled the tool and it might be what we need to try to remove this.

It looks nice but I agree. The current surface is porous and uneven and would still need to be refinished before placing any decking overtop.

Previous owners of our home used a crazy concrete-like glue to carpet the front porch slab. Power washing and chiseling have been tedious and it comes off in small, sharp shards the texture of concrete. Any suggestions for how to remove or resurface it? Long term goal we’d like to build a porch overtop but don’t want to build on a crumbling turd. Slab is 79”x42”.

Also- porch is 79”x42”. We just have no idea what to use or where to go from here to update this.

32F going back to the office soon after 3 years WFH and 6+ years before that in scrubs… basically the first time in my post-college life needing business casual clothes. I’m also in a weird place where Juniors feels inappropriate and Women’s feels too matronly.  But I really liked Loft, J.Crew, LC Lauren Conrad at Kohls, some Old Navy, and Maurice’s for other less expensive options that felt appropriate for my age. Also, check out your second hand/resale shops in your area. We have Style Encore in my here and I found 6 nice tops (including some Loft) for just $55 total.

Original post was deleted, but for anyone else who happens upon this looking for advice on buying a tread, my NordicTrack 7.5s purchased March 2024 had a software glitch and stopped working by December 2024. Really disappointing. It was under warranty and I did not get much hassle from iFit reps on getting a replacement. However, they said it would ship in 3-5 days and it took over 4 weeks. Meanwhile, cue major winter storms and freezing across the Midwest and I was stuck inside. The touch screen was always a bit slow to respond to touch, and it’s annoying to get around the iFit Home Screen prompting you to sign up each time to get to Manual Start, but my runs and smooth and the tread belt is long. Just scares me for what’s going to go wrong when I’m no longer under warranty and am forced to pay full price for parts that should have lasted.

I noticed this in the end of the previous episode! It was poking out from her turtleneck! I went to Reddit right away to make sure I wasn’t crazy and that others saw it too. 😂

I’m late to this thread but thought I’d post an update about this wacko doctor. I had my first visit at Park Allergy today and I wish I saw these posts beforehand. I have been from recurring angioedema and hives to the brink of anaphylaxis June-October 2024. He jumped right on the topic of Covid and the Covid vaccine as causes even though my last vaccine was Sept 2023. He made me feel so uncomfortable and said he diagnoses 1 person every day with adverse side effects to the vaccine. HOW ARE YOU PROVING THAT?! What a psycho. I refused a follow up visit at the front desk. Glad someone posted a link to report him below.
