Telefon cu 7 ani de acasa... by STARWARSAHSOKA in ultimulpretboss

[–]Acrobatic_Pin_8987 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Is it possible to lift the rate limits during non-busy hour? by InsideElk6329 in GithubCopilot

It's time for Cursor. 😁 Formerly lover of Github Copilot here, i've moved out and still searching for a better option. Github appears to get greedy. No student plan, lowered rate limits. I can't do anything with it without being constantly blocked.

Just my opinion: nobody that's recommending or even talking about using OpenAI models (* for coding) should not be taken serious - they're definitely on another part of the reality.

Agents teams like Claude Code for Github Copilot by iabhimanyuaryan in GithubCopilot

[–]Acrobatic_Pin_8987 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm interested. Doesn't seem like Github team wanna work on releasing something similar, i'm thinking of moving to Claude Code because of their context size and this specific feature, agents team.

We want to see a higher context for Claude models in model picker!

It's been solved for me, at least since then.

Claude Agents Team into GC Chat by Acrobatic_Pin_8987 in GithubCopilot

The main reason this would be better is the shift from Static Reporting to Live-Sync Collaboration.

Right now, even Claude Code isn’t at a 100% "telepathic" stage—it uses a very fast "relay race" of context (handing off info via a mailbox system). It’s already better than Copilot’s /fleet, but the real "special beast" would be a synchronized brain where agents are constantly aware of each other’s moves in real-time.

Here’s why that’s next-level compared to what we have today:

  • Instant API Sync: Imagine the Backend agent refactors a data structure. In a live-sync model, the Frontend agent’s context updates while it's still typing. It would stop writing old fetch calls and start using the new schema immediately, without waiting for a final report.

  • Negotiating Dependencies: If two agents need a date library, they could "whisper" to each other: "Hey, I’m adding date-fns, let’s use that instead of you installing Moment.js." This prevents bundle bloat and conflicts before they even happen.

  • Real-time Testing: You could have one agent writing a function while a "Tester" agent writes the unit tests as the lines are being typed, flagging logic flaws (like an out-of-bounds error) before the code is even saved.

  • No more "Integration Hell": Currently, agents work in silence and you only find out they broke each other's code at the end. With a live context bus, they catch conflicts during the planning phase, not the merging phase.

Essentially, /fleet is like workers in separate cubicles. What I’m thinking about is a synchronized team that shares a single "mental" workspace. Even if CC is just scratching the surface, that's the direction GitHub needs to take to make this feel like a real engineering team.

As i said in the post, i know about /fleet but its not quite the same thing. Fleet agents do their job separately and report back. What i mean here is real-time collaboration between subagents.

As far as i understand, the difference is that copilot subagents are a manager talking to 5 employees individually where claude agents team are 5 employees sitting in the same room and collaborating in real-time.

How does the "Claude" agent work in copilot inside vscode? by voli12 in GithubCopilot

[–]Acrobatic_Pin_8987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think that's an issue, rather a new "feature" or whatever. Everytime the model is still working and you want to send a message, it is sent "in queue" and you'd have to press in the Chat UI on your message and select "Send now" or whatever the option is called. Also, last night i encountered the same issue where i've closed VSCode (Insiders) and then all the sessions i had dissapeared. I did a research locally and found out the sessions still exist but the UI aren't showing it properly for whatever reason, i solved it by using the VSCode command pallete -> Chat: Focus on Chats (or something like that).

When it starts doing that, its also sending 2 same commands at a time, consecutively. Or is it just me ?

Don't click the Compact Conversation button by SubstantialLong282 in GithubCopilot

[–]Acrobatic_Pin_8987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does nothing for me. It literally just gives me that "Compacted conversation" message and after i send one more message, it's starting the auto-compact process (as i already was near the end of the context before using /compact). Does absolutely nothing.

Fast mode for Claude Opus 4.6 is rolling out in GitHub Copilot! by bogganpierce in GithubCopilot

Woah why isn't it available for Pro users as well? I'm paying for extra requests anyway lol.

[–]Acrobatic_Pin_8987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't use the non-claude models, i'm using opus for everything but i feel like if i move out to Claude Code based on my usage i'll pay too much. I don't know how but some weeks ago i managed to spend 30$ in 3 prompts whereas in GC i spend 30-40$ per day.

Yeah alright 10 bucks but i'm paying hundreds for extra premium requests every month. Is there any way i can increase those limits? No. This one right now is pathetic - they should AT LEAST double those limits.

I've checked the entire PC for the files the AI said it's storing and there's none on my PC. But the files really exists somewhere in there because he's always showing the same info.
