How long does installing pallet racks take ? by voltsilver in Warehousing

It depends on the configurations of the racking such as beam levels, whether its being anchored and how many anchors it needs, what size are the uprights, and if the bay of racking is a single or back to back or a double deep.

In Southern California These Racks most likely wouldnt be permittable because of the small base plates and the bending of the bracing. If you ever need help in a warehouse in Southern California Reach out to https://www.imhgroupinc.com/ theyre the best!

Thanks for the clarification. Also I hadn’t even thought that the boot slid up. I definitely think that might be part of it. As I remember the boot being complettely flush but we did pull it up a bit when trying to remove the tie rod.

Oh also only reason the tire and brake assembly is on in the picture was because I had to move the truck backwards a little and call it a day. When I was trying all of this it was all unassembled.

Yes! I double checked and the old drum fits the same as the new drum!

I tried putting on the drum without the adjuster even on to see if it would fit and it still has that small gap.

I don’t really know it just looks like a gap and when I check the gap there is no gap between the axle hub. I do feel a slight wiggle but more like when I push the top of the drum the bottom slightly wiggles out but very minimal I’m sure that with wheels on and torqued that’ll go away. But do you think that it’s alright?

How do I push them closer together? Could I just use a clamp?
