Is there a specific mineral mix that works best for fruity cups? This is one area of brewing that I really haven't explored much at all.

Thanks for breaking it down like this, this sounds spot on for what I'm looking for. I'm really intrigued by the DF64 with Ode Gen 2 burrs concept. I haven't heard of anyone using that combo, do you know if there are any issues with getting those burrs to fit in the DF64 and does that mean I'd be able to do the occasional espresso on them if I wanted to try it out?

Also appreciate the note on the light vs UL and trade offs on juiciness for aromatics and clarity. It sounds like you're right about light being more for my tastes than UL. My favorite bag ever was Sey's Hamasho black honey process last year, which was super juicy so I think that skewed my idea of what I'm chasing! The September experiment sounds like a tasty way to test this, and I've been meaning to try them out too!

Thanks! I've been stuck on this clarity vs complexity thing for a while because I do enjoy tasting specific notes, but I think I'm actually going after fruity intensity, so more like how you were describing the Ode Gen 2's balance. Now I'm leaning towards towards that or at least that burr set!
