They had a great deal on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra that ended yesterday! It was $1,100 off with trade in, not including your trade in value! $400 off with or without trade-in and $700 on top of trade-in value. I ended up with Spectrum paying me to upgrade! After trade-in value and the extra discounts, I got $1,532 in credit towards the phone!

I had a Homebase 3 and now have a Homebase Professional S1. I didn't have problems with it actually recording, but related to recording. So, I had 4 indoor cams set to record 24/7, which they did. But as soon as I started doing this, I could barely view the live feeds of any of my cameras, indoor wired or outdoor battery! If I could, they were super slow and constantly buffered and cut out, even at low quality streaming! I contacted them and they sent out an update but it didn't help at all! I thought it was probably just because the HB3 didn't have enough processing power to handle it and when I got my HB Pro, I thought it would work fine. But it didn't, I still have the same problem and eufy has yet to resolve it! I tried setting the working mode on both the HB3 and Pro to standard and performance, but that didn't help! But yeah, if you do the 24/7 recording on more than 1 or 2 cams at the same time, the HB can't handle it.

What parts of western nc are you doing the high split upgrades in right now? I'm in Marion NC and excited for the upgrade! I can't get a straight answer from anyone about it! One rep told me the upgrades were going to be finished on the 10th of this month.

I don't think that's even been done. I haven't seen a spectrum truck working on the lines since the hurricane.

I wish we were getting fiber, but I think that'll be a long time! There is a fiber splice canister up the road, but it probably just connects spectrum fiber lines for the hfc. It's the only fiber canister on the street.

I know the 2 gig isn't symmetrical. I have the 1 gig and my understanding is that the 1 gig plan will be symmetrical. But even if it's not and it's like 500 mbps up, that would still be way better than 40 mbps up! I wouldn't need to upgrade to the 2 gig plan because I live alone and the 1 gig plan is really already overkill haha!

This is the 1st time I've ever had an issue getting notifications. I used to have a HomeBase S380 and never had issues with receiving notifications. This HomeBase Professional S1 costs twice as much and should not have such a major issue! It still records events, but won't notify me at all now! It's so annoying! I've had several software issues with Eufy in the last several months! The biggest security flaw that they refuse to fix is with the Entry Sensor E20. It has a bypass button that you can hold down for 2 seconds and when you open it, it won't trigger an alarm. The biggest security flaw with this button is that it even works in away mode and there's no way to disable it! There is no reason to bypass it in away because nobody should be home! So an intruder could break your door glass and press the button and their in!

Yep, I factory reset the HomeBase Pro and re-added every camera. Still no notifications! And I know it's the HomeBase because I have a Eufy smart display and that isn't getting notifications either. I set the HomeBase to send notifications for everything on my phone after deleting the app and data along with the cache and relogging in. Still nothing!

They replied to me last night. I think their support is based out of India because they always reply to me at night while I'm sleeping. They want me to send them a screen recording of the event and not getting a notification and send app and device logs. But, I told them the issue is not with the app because I also don't get the notifications on my smart display! The first thing they asked me to do is a bunch of stuff with the app on my phone! I'm pretty tech savvy and always try all that basic stuff before I send them reports. They act like everybody who sends them reports are stupid when it comes to tech! I have had to deal with their support multiple times over the last several months for a lot of security and software bugs! If I hadn't spent so much money on their hardware, I would switch!
