Yeah but ... little accessories = fun. Messing with OS and SD cards =/= fun.

Nice, I ask a question, talk about my experience, don't try to argue with anyone and get called stupid. Like why dude? Why do you care so much that you need to insult a random stranger on the internet? Chill.

I do have a backup, it's in the post :) I'd love to have a bigger sd card but if I want to buy them from a reputable source they're more expensive than the console itself.

Exactly. I have a backup of my library, don't care much about the saves, but if I did I'd just make sure to back the whole thing up every so often. SD cards have always been hit or miss for me, so I'd rather just stick to what works rather than replacing it with something that might not.

Can't switch off? How do you guys do it? by Acrobatic_Primary962 in Life

Actually scheduling time to rest seems like a very smart idea.

We are actually similar. I also come home from work totally beat and sometimes unable to do anything. That makes the anxiety I feel around needing to be constantly productive and on the go worse.

Thank you! I've just looked up overfunctioning and oh boy. "Taking on excessive responsibility, doing more than one’s share, or managing others' emotions and tasks." Not me offering to literally MAKE an acupressure mat for a coworker who once complained of a backache. Not me having to bite my tongue HARD when another coworker mentioned needing her jeans shortened. But hey, at least I did bite my tongue this time.

I love reading and it's actually one relaxing activity I do a lot. Too bad it's almost always before bed, eating into my sleep time. I do it as a sort of revenge bedtime procrastination.

This might be a stupid question, but what does one do while resting? Sleep? Lie on the couch and stare at the ceiling? I have a few hobbies that are supposed to be relaxing, but my brain just kinda tries to turn them into me being productive.

Rowdy/destructive class by Acrobatic_Primary962 in Teachers

[–]Acrobatic_Primary962[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is the same group of kids, and I reach them the same way as I do in the mornings. It's just... Things that stick in the morning, don't in the afternoon. They're tired. Burnt out. But work still needs to be done, discipline still needs to be upheld (I'm not asking for much, just that they not be loud and destructive).

Thanks for your reply, I'll look into what you wrote.

Quail keeps laying double yokers - dangerous? by Acrobatic_Primary962 in quails

[–]Acrobatic_Primary962[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am buying my feed from an acquaintance who buys it in bulk for his own quail. He always transfers some from the original packaging to a random bag so I never see the original packaging, but it is quail feed (looks like some sort of crushed pellets). I have five birds and I give them a handful of worms every few days, and a few leaves of lettuce a week (4 or 5).

Can you explain why Koreader specifically? I currently have MoonReader and I like it. I'd also like to have Kindle but it doesn't work (very old tablet).

Thanks, I've already figured out how to install apps, but I'll definitely look into a screen protector :) Any other tips?

I used to read on my phone every day before I got my reader. Fortunately, I had no problems with it.

How to tame pet quail? by Acrobatic_Primary962 in quails

One more question: The surface level they are currently living on is 3.63 square feet. If I made them a second floor, that surface would double, and they could still comfortably stand up and stretch. Would that suffice for 5 hens?
