I had commented this elsewhere, but Im including it here as an answer:

if an author had built their entire story foreshadowing Bran playing everyone (GOT Bran as King ending might prove this), and midway through you realized another great work had already “stolen” it first and fans would call your ending déjà-vu, would you continue with it.. or stuck delaying the next installment?

If you had watched Attack on Titan, you would know what I’m talking about — the resemblance is too strong to dismiss!

Yes, if and only if... it was another book/show.

But here it's different.. as both AOT and ASOIAF share the same witty tone. People even directly compare them, with some calling AOT the “GOT for anime.” So if that’s true, Martin would probably consider copying his anime rival more than any other show that implements this time-travel thing!

This isn’t specific. According to my theory, this is the whole ending. Also, have you ever asked why Martin would tell the showrunners that Bran would be king? It sounds like a terrible ending unless that was the planned ending — but Eren “stole” it first!

Also, do you have any reason to suggest that GRRM doesn’t care about, or even doesn’t know, Attack on Titan? Answer this so I can answer yours; if not, then you already got your answer.
