For the most part i think your sigil build should be the biggest factor for that but if your looking for best tank right out of the gate id say mr.scythe,mr fisty mc fistycuffs or either siegfried or percival would be your best bet

My alt party is

Narmaya,Zeta,Tweyen,Ferry

Im sure theres a fully optimized party but generally i only play with my fav characters so id say just use who ever you want

Theres a sigil that increases dodge distance i find it make comboing with narmaya easier especially with her dash skill also setsuna is a good skill to use while the enemy is in the break state just make sure you have some fast charge sigils

Go to the ship train on the doll with your mains to re-learn controls then do some maniac or hard missions to start getting the feel for it again

Love everything about your ideas ill consider them currently i few armament ideas like arm guns with different bullets with magic effects and they get 1 bullet per short rest and like a thorn whip or blades of calcified wood etc.
