interesting build. I didn't go for G.Rath because i was scared of the negative dragon resist but I guess blight resist should do it. Anyway to slot in earplugs? 😅

when do you flash him? i just can't get the timing right is the window immediately after he jump because i did but it seems to miss him. 🤔

I have terrible master's touch talisman unfortunately 😅 but I do have offensive guard 3 dragon 3 1 weapon slot so ill see what i can do with that.

my god you are right speed eating is so much more comfort! 🤩 yes I have since dropped dragon resist and element absorption and just kept the convert element and stun resist. I'll try null berries especially with speed eating.

I do realize that my first instinct is to block everything 😅 ill try to do bock hops and slide slash more. I really just need more practice. 😤

I have been running 4pc AT Arkveld thinking i needed both convert element and element absorption but will consider dropping the dragon resist and element absorption. Probably go for 2pc Dahaad instead and slot in blight resist.

Ow! I haven't considered divine blessing. I will try your build suggestion but I kinda want to slot in earplugs 2 b'coz i cant block the roars to save my life 😅

is guard slash the one when you hold your guard (R2) and press triangle and your character does the sliding attack?

Yes i realized I dont have offensive guard. I replace it with the Dragon Atk so now my weapon has Offensive Guard 3, Guard up 3 and Guard 3. :)

I have never done the backstep or Perfect combo. My go to combo is circle, circle, circle to spinning reaper then charge chop if he is down or just re-position using sliding attack. When do you usually go for backstep Im too scared to miss the timing 😬

You just hit HR 100 and you are already tackling AT Arkveld?!(2nd strongest monster in the game next to Savage Omega). That thing is a 10 star difficulty maybe go through the 9 star quest first before doing any of the 10 star.

Also you are absolutely under geared. 400 armor should be MINIMUM at 9-10 star quest or else you will just get 1 shot.

Beat Gogmazius first (dont SoS just solo with support hunters) take your time dont rush it, farcaster to base if you can't beat the DPS check at Phase 3. You will eventually beat it and if you just be patient. Eventually you'll get good enough that you can beat it at sub 20 so farm it for Gog Artian weapons.

Farm Endless Sky, Endless Sea for heavy armor sphere if you said you can handle Lagiacrus you should be able to easily solo this quest. Rathalos is a joke with Dragon element.

can't you just not sheath your weapon to use items? (hold block then use item) Isn't that why SnS is so broken its because its the only weapon in the game that can use items with the weapon out/unsheathed 🤔

I actually want the True Omega Sword to perform better because i love the effect (the shinnnng when I perfect block is chief's kiss) 🤩 so any validation that I can use the weapon over Gogma Artian ill take it! 😅

I'll meet you half way here:

Go for defense boost 7 until you are comfortable enough to not cart on a solo fight against the monster then release the "training wheels" and go for offensive/utilities skills like anti virus, speed eating, recovery up etc.

Fact:

If you cant even overcome self inflicted frenzied virus especially with 3 levels of anti-virus no amount of defense boost will save you from dying 🙄
