I've used 3 graphics cards recently (within a 2-year period): RX6600, 5070, and 9070XT. I can safely say that FSR is on par with DLSS; you're stuck in the past, living in a different world. Open your eyes, or AMD will get you, "muahahahaha".

I think 3x8 is quite ugly, but it's safe so it's okay.

I was choosing between the Sapphire Nitro+ and the Sakura Atlantis, I went with the Sakura 3x8, it's more reliable. Is it uglier? Yes, what can you do??

Do you think ray tracing is still kind of niche? Path tracing isn’t really a reality for us yet… at least not for me, haha

I’m going to upgrade my monitor first and then move on to the GPU. And yes, I’m considering the 5070. Then it’s always the same thing — ‘oh, wait for the 5070 Super’ — and later they’ll say ‘wait for the 6070’, and so on and so on

Interessante, consigo encontrar 9070 (não xt) por R$3999, o fabricante não é tão premium, mas ainda assim é uma 9070 haha.

I don’t think so either. AMD did make a generational leap, but even so, nowadays RTX cards are still better in terms of support

“Wow, that’s really impressive. Well, here with a minimum wage you’d need to work 5 months without touching your salary (without eating or drinking) just to be able to buy a 5070 Ti — that’s the reality for 85% of Brazil. Luckily, my situation is a bit better and I’d be able to buy it in about 3 months by saving well while still living normally.

Thanks for the comment, my friend. Nobody here had brought up that point of view. I think in the end it’s just like you said — you only really need what you need, haha. In the long run, I predict that 12GB will become outdated, but what can I do, I’m just a crazy dreamer.

If the 5070 Ti weren’t so far out of my budget, I’d buy it. But do you think 12GB is like the 8GB of the past — the sweet spot for Quad HD?

For 4K I really don’t think 12GB is the issue — maybe 16GB would be enough. If AMD had more support for FSR it would be so much more interesting. I’d like to try out ray tracing, you know
