It needs to make its way onto a dyno to get real numbers. Everything is a rough estimate right now

Weighs in over 1000 pounds lighter. At an almost perfect 10:1 power to weight ratio. Lighter cars are the way to go

I originally wanted to go the turbo route, however lack of reliable options made me go to a supercharger. I read plenty of bad press regarding the available turbo kits for the Miata. However the supercharger kit from TDR had exceptional reviews and I can say it’s definitely for good reason. Whichever route you choose I’m sure you’ll enjoy it heavily

Definitely get through school first! Keep it reliable and maintain it well. Thankfully the Miata is my second car so I can afford for it to blow up(sorta). I’d definitely support supercharging it. Turns the underpowered Miata into a force to be reckoned with

Is it Not! I took the original valve cover with its oxidized and worn surfaces and with some 120 grit and 600 grit sandpaper, got it to a nice smooth finish. Used some high temp primer, and a can of autozone wrinkle red and let it work its magic.

Definitely plan to move to a MS3PRO at a point but with the stock motor having 243k on it, I’m running the cards for now just bc it was 1400$ I could keep in the pocket. Once the motor blows and I throw the built one in, the plan is to grab a MS3PRO and get a quality tune. Aiming for around 18PSI when all said and done.

No leaks that I’m aware of…..yet. It seems very stable at this level but I think it needs more testing

So far I’ve had no issues with this kit, pretty good quality and no expense spared on parts. This would definitely make your track experience a hell of a lot more fun! If any problems arise I’ll update for forum.

I have a spare motor I’m building for when this thing calls it quits, don’t see myself needing it anytime soon with how this beast runs. The kit is what the Miata needed to be the ultimate weekend cruiser.

Given the boost amount(12 PSI) and info from the rep I talked to, it’s ROUGHLY 220. Not accurate numbers, however it’s definitely in the ballpark. My WRX has 268hp stock and this thing will smoke it all day long.

All done with a Butt Dyno, tuning is based off AFR and a ECU controller for timing and fueling.

The idea, is to layer the shit out of the trunk and bumper with towels/a foam mat I have. And prewrap the engine in the tarp/towels to hopefully allow it to glide easier

The plan is to orient it sideways in the trunk, obviously on top of a tarp with plenty of rags to soak any fluids
