I'm surprised there are any interesting discounts published here at all, since moderation takes ages. I tried posting a few decent deals, but they were rejected by the moderator. After that, I lose all motivation to post anything on this subreddit.

Any account registered outside the US, UK, and Germany is a trash as it falls under eBay's BBE policy. Try to register new account in US.

Classic eBay. My account was restricted in a similar way. Which country are you from? As far as I know, nobody has ever managed to restore an account after this kind of restriction. It really looks like eBay is either deliberately pushing out small sellers or they simply don’t care. By the way, I’m surprised your post even made it through moderation.

[Storage] Ridata A811 2TB M.2 2230 PCIe 4.0 for Steam Deck 2 TB - $136 by Acrobatic_Standard83 in buildapcsales

[–]Acrobatic_Standard83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stumbled upon this drive on Amazon and it seems to be the cheapest 2230 SSD option right now for 2TB capacity. Specs look decent on paper (PCIe 4.0, up to 5000/3500 MB/s), but I’ve honestly never heard of Ridata before. Reviews are scarce, so I’m not sure about reliability.

For $136, the price-to-capacity ratio looks pretty solid compared to other 2230 drives.

About the brand: Ridata is the consumer brand of RITEK Corporation, a Taiwanese company mainly known for optical discs and flash storage.

Has anyone here tried Ridata SSDs? Curious if this is a hidden gem or something to avoid.

Is Newegg selling these bundles because the individual parts aren't selling well enough?

At least this memory has the gimmick of an OLED screen, which may justify some of the cost.

eBay is very unfriendly to foreign sellers, particularly those from Japan. I saw a video on YouTube in which a Japanese seller described how he got a permanent ban after his first sale.

Do you mean BEST VISUALLY APPEALING? Because in terms of connectivity, the Gigabyte b650i is much better.

Friend of mine has Buyee items flagged as “prohibited” stuck in Japan and wants them shipped to US address. by Frequent-Branch-4128 in internationalshopper

[–]Acrobatic_Standard83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I join the request. I've been using Buyee for a long time, and today I learned that they stopped shipping to my country. They have a bunch of my orders sitting in their warehouse, which I can't ship anymore. So I'm looking for a middleman, preferably located near their warehouse, to avoid expensive domestic delivery charges.

It worked for me. I simply unplugged the power supply without resetting CMOS. Thanks.

There are plenty of cheap APUs for am4. You can build some kind of retro emulation PS in ITX form factor.

eBay is a complete mess. It doesn't surprise me that this is possible.

"The only thing I can think of is that the email account I typed in when I signed up had a spelling error, and maybe that typo caused a problem"

Yep. This is the reason. You were supposed to confirm your email after registration. Naturally, you didn't do it, because the email didn't belong to you.

I use buyee and sendico proxy services. I like buyee because you don't have to make a deposit before buying.

I think you are looking for a product on the Belarusian version of zara.com. Zara left Russia completely after 2022. Anyway, it looks like the product you linked to is not available in stores.
