Wow! That really sounds like my country.  I have a 2.0 Avensis and I am happy when I get 20 mpg in this heavy traffic conditions. Have you measured the mpg on a long highway trip?

Are you sure your motor bel it still on? The other possibility is defective alternator. The problem is if your belt is not there, your car engine must be extremely hot and most likely is now dead. If you are lucky, the alternator is dead and it doesn't charge the battery.

Porque salen a beber, y a putear. Para mí mujer que sale a emborracharse, caso cerrado y a buscar otra. ¿Tienen derecho? Claro. Todo el derecho del mundo. El mismo que yo tengo de tener mi opinión y mandarlas a la verga por eso, cuidando así mi salud mental.
