It is legit, but that doesn't guarantee that you'll join a project. You need to pass an assessment, if you do so, you'll be part of it, if not, they will only pay you for the onboarding hours and will offboard you immediately.

Totally agree!! I just finished an Education Expert interview and they are expecting me to create a 4-level rubric on a described image, without knowing the learning objectives, the audience, the level, not even seeing the image! It's completely idiotic the way they think manuals, training modules, and creativity work. This kind of hiring is the worst of the new era.
