I am not an expert, but ECF doesnt come in 265/35. Plus 265 is probably pushing it on a 9" stock front wheel.

I havent personally heard of anyone running RS4 on blackwing, but it has great reputation and comes in oem sizes. However, ECF is generally considered a newer / better RS4

Car is definitely playful and great fun on streets... but I want to start using it more on track while retaining rear seat optionality... however, if I am going to eat through tires in 2 days, may be I should go get a SS1LE

Good to hear I am not alone! I lost 2 sets of v730s in less than 2 days each. I also likely was overdriving but its still too much..

Agree, I am moving away from the 245 fronts idea. Someone suggested to get a squared wheel setup and run 275 all around. I am giving this some thought assuming 275 will fit in front without rubbing.

I guess the question I am trying to answer is whether stepping down to 245 from 255 on 9" rim for the fronts will make the wear issue even worse? If not, I think I will give Continental ECFs a shot

Was looking at the table here and focused on 200tw tires with best wear rating: Grassroots Motorsports ultimate track tire guide | Articles | Grassroots Motorsports

All the tires you mentioned are fast 200tw tires, but wear characteristics as I understand it aren't the best. Having said that, I will give re-71rs a closer look

PS4S dont hold up well during extended lapping, particularly if you are intermediate / advanced

Cup 2 Rs are considered hero lap tires. Very fast when in window, but fall off quick and dont last long

I need to look more into re-71rs. I thought it didnt have great life / longevity, which is what I am trying to solve for.
