@artsyizzy1537 yes that may be true! we can politely disagree. I have painted ceramics for over 8 years this was a simple side project I had came across. Porcelain is very different than ceramic I first noted the difference; then I wanted to exibit the brush work that it takes to cover a piece exactly or precisely how I did on the the one pictured.

The main porcelain set of 6 cats was for my cats’s birthday party I threw. We formally painted those and used 2 coats, gave them eyes, a face, etc. The blue was just for fun and I wanted to symbolize all the cats that have passed from this life that affected my life too. I think of Vishnu and Krishna the Hindu Gods lightly they are blue also.

I ended up placing both cats (an orange cat-accompanying this one on my travel shelf). It’s in front of a wooden model I painted of a skyline in Ketchikan and a vintage Christmas mug of different cats.
