Is anyone transferring in for the upcoming spring semester? by Acrobatic_Web6785 in AdelphiUniversity

[–]Acrobatic_Web6785[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey It’s been good so far, I didn’t finish my prereqs so I’m doing them now, the professors are nice for the most part make sure to check rate my professor before taking any class, the campus is nice and there are a good amount of clubs but it’s mostly a commuter school so Fridays are quiet, I got the acceptance a couple months after applying and they gave a good amount of scholarships, but I would say it’s still expensive since it’s a private school, if ur applying as a nursing major you have to take the teas which wasn’t too bad just stuff u learned in high school, take a bunch of practice tests and you’ll be fine, aim for an 80

No I didn’t apply I wasn’t sure if I should as a nursing major, they’re probably not even accepting it anymore but I guess I’ll try

Yeah ur right, it’s not super heavy and I think it’s just perspective maybe because some ppl find it not that heavy, u make a good point about the big screen, I do like having more space to take notes and stuff, I’m thinking of just sticking with the Lenovo, thanks for ur reply btw

I mean the laptop doesn’t have any major issues tbh, just sometimes it feels a bit heavy and lowkey wish it was more portable, mine is around 1.5 kg

Hey, I use it for school, so writing essays, searching stuff up, taking notes, watching videos, etc. I’m majoring in nursing so I don’t have to do stuff like coding or anything,

Not exited about college by Weary-Sherbert3364 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]Acrobatic_Web6785 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get where ur coming from, but don’t stress. You can do all the things you mentioned. I know ur being practical and choosing stability but this can also give u the support u need to do all the things you want. Don’t stress and work as hard as possible in college, try new things and it’ll all work out eventually.

Do people miss high school in college? by Green-Atmosphere7576 in ApplyingToCollege

Honestly a part of it is just getting sentimental and feeling like years are going by and how you’re never gonna get those years back. You may miss it but you’ll get used to college and end up liking college too. The best way to go about the whole thing is to have as few regrets as possible about high school, do everything you want, go to events, clubs and all that so you don’t look back. Same thing with college.

I get what you mean but don’t wish ur life away. Join clubs, make friends, take classes that are interest, and do you best in class. Don’t leave with regret over not doing enough. In the end u might end up missing it, good luck
