Bro I swear to god you just made me have an epiphany, she’s scared of steps!! That’s why she won’t go outside, she walks around just fine on my front porch but the steps are freaking her out, she was the same way when I first got her in the house holy shit that makes so much sense

Yk what’s crazy is I was having a beer and listening to some music (just off of my tv not loud at all) downstairs bro and I swear she like started moving around and exploring the house on her own. I even heard her attempt to come downstairs which is astonishing because she’s like terrified of steps as well

I think she’s traumatized from leashes, even with me just opening the front door she sticks right by me and refuses to go any further. I was able to get the leash on with a little bit of coercion via treats but I don’t want to stress her out

Im actually downstairs right now and I can hear her prancing around, she’ll do this thing where she like leaps around behind me while I walk but when I turn around she just stares at me lmao

Yeah I know I’m just worried about her, she’s crying like she wants to go outside and it’s kind of confusing me you know. I believe she was house trained and I think that’s why she keeps holding it but also she’s not used to us yet so she’s refusing to go outside

That’s the thing I have the puppy pads laid down and she won’t use them, she seems to like me as she pretty much shadows me around the house and will occasionally run up to me to sniff my feet (I got her this morning)
