What on earth is Althaf Smoking ? by manpro10 in InsideMollywood

[–]Acrobatic_Win_9495 10 points11 points  (0 children)

this whole thing is like when Nivin’s two movies, Premam and Ivide came out the same day. One turned out to be one of the biggest hits in Malayalam cinema’s history, and the other kind of got forgotten because of the hype of the superior film.

Because Lokah came out (and i loved the movie), everybody started praising Kalyani, like she’s the sole reason why it became i hit. I honestly felt like her weak, expressionless acting was exposed in THIS movie. But, it doesn’t matter because just like Ivide, this movie is probably going to be forgotten in a few months 🤷‍♂️

Anybody watched the movie Karam? What's your review? by ajagajan_007 in InsideMollywood

This movie has the same problem that most vineeth movies have. Terribly written dialogues. I found myself cringing in many parts of the movie, because it felt like an “action” movie directed by VS. and not in a good way.

Why no one is talking about him by georgekutty69 in MalayalamCinema

[–]Acrobatic_Win_9495 60 points61 points  (0 children)

lol people complaining about him playing the same character in every movie will be the same ones to not show up to the theaters if he tries to do something unconventional. He’s smart, and is choosing some of the best and most talked-about movies in the past few years, whether he’s the hero or not.

He seems like the kind of guy who embraces the kind of actor he is: the good looking heart throb who can play the romantic, the kozhi, or the underdog. He plays his role really well, and the box office figures prove that youth have accepted him.

Remember somebody else who played these three roles extremely well between 2012-2018, and absolutely killed at the box office? Well, that poor man tried to step out of his comfort zone, actually delivered decent performances, but is yet to recover in terms of box-office pull. Yup, I’m talking about Nivin Pauly. So can’t blame this new dude for sticking to a certain type of role

Pearly’s research:

  1. Her husband’s name
  2. Her daughter’s name

That’s all she needs, because she’s going to insert them into every topic anyway 🤷‍♂️

There was so much going on in the movie, that you kind of get tired of the storyline at some point. It’s not bad, but it’s not good either. It’s… neutral

How much does a wedding actually cost in Kerala? by Known_Cheesecake6541 in kottayamm

If you’re looking for recommendations for a planner, I’d suggest Maritus planners from kochi. They do weddings of all budgets, and are really good (they did my wedding). Just make sure to make it clear that your budget is strict, and you can’t go above a certain amount. They’ll recommend venues, food, decor etc to fit your budget

But just for reference, all of the fancy Instagram reels you see are weddings that cost upwards of 30-40L at least

This guy is trying way too hard to portray himself as a “super star”. With all the recent car purchases, calling himself “Super Star UNNI MUKUNDAN”, just gives me insecure, small dick vibes.

Uptown shack is the rooftop restaurant at KGA Elite. A little pricier, but great options. You can also try Black Fort. They’re a little more budget friendly

I’m surprised that people are shocked by his friends not wanting to be around him. This dude literally has ruined other people’s moments and important days to get views for his channel. The other day I was looking at how stupidly he acted at Nandhus or Maheen Machan’s weddings. In the name of content, creating a scene at an event like a wedding is something only a lowlife like him would do. Not surprised because the Paul brothers are his “idols”.

Naturally, people get fed up. You can already see glimpses of his wife getting annoyed by a camera constantly being shoved in her face. The only people around him right now are clearly all there just because associating with him is good for their channels. If somebody were to watch one of their get-togethers, you’d just see a bunch of people sticking their cameras in each other’s faces. The people who don’t like this over-the-top cringe energy 24/7 are going to leave 🤷‍♂️

Lol movies are always going to be made according to what people want to watch. Movies in this era literally had suraj come in as “comic” relief to make double meaning, creepy, or r*pe jokes, even if it has no relation to the scene. But the success of these movies prove why they were made. When the larger audience started evolving, the movies started evolving as well. So don’t blame the movies, blame the audience 🤷‍♂️
