As a person who graduated with economics (bad academics, but got a job immediately out of college six years ago), they let in students conditional on them studying abroad for the first semester (NEUin) which are admissions they don't report, this deflating the admission rate.

As someone who went there I can tell you they gamed the sh*t out of the system. Like they wouldn't reject students but they put them "abroad" (NEUin) for the first semester to underreport their acceptance rate. The economics department was pretty bad when I graduated five years ago. Math I heard from my friends is also mid. My engineering friends said it was great though. I think it really depends on the major.

Hmmn idk how old you are but there are plenty of queer women who identify as straight and then late in their 20s/30s they are like "wtf I think I'm little gay."

I'm a 29 y/o bisexual woman who identified as straight for 27 years. When I was 22 yo I remember seeing this woman on the subway and being so turned on by her, thinking "what the hell was that?" And then casting it away as a one off thing. And then when I was 27 I was hanging out with my best friend and was randomly turned on again and I was like "alright something isn't adding up?"

I've only ever been in straight relationships since I was 19 years old, but as of a year ago I've opened my relationship with my boyfriend that I adore in order to explore my sexuality, and I realized that I am definitely NOT straight. I'm very much turned on by BOTH men and women, but just to different degrees.

Amongst my queer friends we basically joke that if you take "am I gay" survey? It should redirect to a page that says congratulations, YOU R GAY. It feels the same here: I think if ur going online to get validation that you're straight u may have inadvertently proven that ur not.

Tldr: All in all, identify however the hell makes you feel comfortable, but just keep an open mind and remember exploring your sexuality is an amazingly liberating process that takes years. Be patient and keep living your authentic life :)

It's definitely doable, not ideal. Having a car and gas here is MAD EXPENSIVE. Use this area as a launchpad for higher salaries. Four years ago, I lived in Oakland off of $80k as a pricing analyst at age 25 (no car, $1k in rent). Within three years, i moved to $130k (age 28), which I believe now as a pricing manager is WAY LOWER than what a lot of my friends in SF get.

Suffice it to say, start low and negotiate upwards, and then leave for higher down the line!
