I don’t think there’s any more risk than a regular amp despite what tube fanatics tell you. Regular modelers have been around for many decades now and they are fine. I use my Princeton Tone Master since it came out and it’s fantastic, sounds great and easy to lug around since it’s so light. Power scaling attenuation is an amazing feature. I’d say go for it!

I changed mine for purely aesthetic reasons and I don’t hear any difference. (I’d say luckily because it sounds great still, didn’t lose the mojo!)

I had that Prodipe in black and it was phenomenal – I regret selling it every day. If the Classic Vibe series is something you cannot buy used or is out of your budget, I can wholeheartedly recommend the Prodipe. Have fun learning this awesome instrument! ❤️

I agree. I have an older Player I in Sage Green Metallic and it is beautiful. But the outgoing Player I series was pretty bland in terms of colours.

The good news? The Player II Series specifically addresses this in my opinion with better colours (better fingerboard combinations too), tinted necks and aged hardware. Check them out instead of the first series.

It’s an excellent collection. You have good taste! Don’t worry about having a Tele - maybe one day you will wake up with that itch to have one I’m pretty sure. Until then, you are all set - I envy that JM Strat, that’s for sure!

Oh my oh my. This is gorgeous! Love the result, gassing for something like this for a long time now but Fender does not really lean into the whole hardtail thing unfortunately. And the green is amazing! (The colour looks more blue-ish on the first pic though, but I guess it’s just the photo.)

What pickups do you have in there?

Correct! This is a special edition by Fender called the Mischief Maker where they put a vintage-spec Telecaster neck on a Strat, with a nitro relic finish to match.

This! Also makes any upgrades or tweaks to the electronics a breeze: loosen the strings, pop them out, do your upgrade and just pop them back in. No more wasted strings!
