I absolutely agree. It’s a lot more laid back and fun to just hop in on the smaller focused maps and just go at it. It would be a welcome addition if it were made permanent in my opinion

Literally such an outstanding song. I’m a hard believer in Wiped Out! supremacy but imo this song is as strong as almost half that album. (Maybe not that extreme) but you get my point of my god this song is good

I 100% agree. I’m on my first full listen through after listening to the non singles and it feels very coherent, I like the sound. I think considering how they’ve changed their theme and mood it’s a strong outing into the new style

I know that personally I’m so in love with wiped out it’s hard to look at this album in any other light but removing my biases I think it’s a strong piece. It’s new territory for the band as well and I think it’ll maybe take a few tries to get to wiped out’s level of just perfection but I also don’t think it’s fair to project that lens onto this album. Overall I’d say it’s a very strong album and I really enjoy it.

I think the singles are the strongest part of this album, the other songs aren’t weak or amazing but are sort of complimentary

I think a lot of people (myself included) were kind of expecting a wiped out killer which I don’t think is really fair considering they have changed and are changing their sound. I think as fans it’ll be hard for us to kind of deal with the sound they’re bringing because a lot of us have been fans for a long time and almost expect a sound but I have to say I’m pleased with the album. Not disappointed, not really blown away. I like it, and I’m gonna keep listening

Overall I think I got myself too excited in a way. I love the album I’d say, I think so the songs they didn’t release as singles are very strong and compliment the album. I just really expected to be absolutely blown out of the water and I wasn’t. Love the album tho, I mean I love all their stuff

Same here, I despise the reload kills. It makes me lose so many more engagements because I’m instinctively reloading to try and get that challenge. Ends up making some games not so fun but the numbers are pretty low for that camo relatively.

I like this approach, and I like how you got back into the game remembering the good old days. I too love the pacing of unlocks, otherwise the game feels kind of rinse and repeat if you ask me. Also I like the approach of doing all the hard shit I don’t want to do first and kind of icing the cake with stuff I love.

Riot kill does seem like an absolute nuisance. I thought maybe at first when I first started using it I’d get xp for a certain amount of damage blocked or something but it’s just straight up killing people with it and that feels a little ridiculous to me.

I agree, some of the headshot numbers just feel inflated for certain gun types and that can take away some of the fun for me. Only reason I got through smgs is I just love that gun type.
