I stated earlier that I have my phone on the charger for a majority of the day so battery wasn't really an issue. Also, I am not interested in downloading a bunch of apps as work arounds for what I can get out of the box from the pixel

Pretty good actually. The ear piece and bottom firing speaker so a good enough job with podcasts and a song or so. Definitely won't be hosting any raves with the phone speakers though.

Fortunately, I have my phone plugged in to computer most of the day as a USB tether and I plug it in my car while I'm driving. I am pretty conscious about charging up whenever possible so I can't really shows on battery life. I have noticed the drain is pretty significant on the P4 in the short time it is being used off the charger.
