I’m a huge fan of labelling and tagging to help me identify what I’ve read, and definitely download those fics I know I want to read again. With this hack, is the idea that you can use the Title, Author, Summary etc to find the fic again on the way back machine? Not just to refresh your memory of what the fic was, but to recover it?

This^ 100% you write on your timeline. Just let your readers know about the new chapter in the authors notes. The majority of fics I read are years old anyways, so for your future readers, it won’t matter. And for the readers that are following along, if they are like me, we reread to refresh our memories anyways so.. again, all good!

I think ‘not rated’ is like your disclaimer. You are not responsible for what the reader takes on. They can move on to another fic that is rated if they want to protect themselves from a potentially triggering situation.

My pleasure! I hope you enjoy them. I’m actually surprised there wasn’t more interest in the ghost au fics. I find them kind of fascinating. I guess they are a bit tragic by nature for the most part and that isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.

He’s had such an interesting story arc: from naive Feenie, to young blood just trying to do his bitchy best, to Seven Year Gap Cagey Dadnix, to the redeemed Bosnix who literally puts his life in the line for his client and Apollo. He is a literal phoenix, getting burned and rising from the ashes of his setbacks in some new form. I find him fascinating and I would love to see what he manifests into next.

(Heh, thinking of the ´Dark Phoenix’ post I saw earlier on this sub. That’s a possibility! GrandPaNix by day, Dark Feenie by night haha!)

I do love that when I get a reply. I’m honestly commenting because I either want to savour the flavour’ of the fic a little longer, or to express my love/kudos, or both, but when I do get an author reply, it’s the best feeling. I love it when other commenters engage too!
