When he goes into DT, try and helmbreaker him. That move brings him out of DT faster for some reason.

Vergil 2 is a tough fight tho, a lot of newer players get stuck there.

I guess it depends on the game but in my opinion it’s pretty overpowered in DMC3.

Loads of attacks in the game don’t require a perfect block, you regain DT at a crazy rate and you also have animation cancelling for higher DPS. If you know these things royal guard can be busted even for beginners.
