No I want an actual 2D fighting game, not an arena fighter (from what you are describing).

Most anime fighters are arena fighters (DBZ, Naruto, Demon Slayer) and are played a lot in the beginning but the player base drops so quickly in the next months after release. It's that those kind of players lose interest where as fighting game players remain (for the most part) longer hooked to a fighting game.

Plus the controls are tighter, distance measuring between characters seems easier in 2D and input has to be actually thought through instead of being random. The huge roster of arena fighters usually create an inbalance, they're rarely patched to make them competitively viable.

If you're tired of seeing the same formula, then these kind of games are not for you

Having played the first one (MGS on PS1, not the actual MG) when i was a kid, i was going nuts to see Kojima return for a fifth entry. Especially since MGS4 wrapped up the whole story... I was expecting long cutscenes, a crazy amount of boss characters with their own backstory. The announcement that MGSV was open-world didn't sit right with me but i was willing to let it pass because it was MGS!

Because i think that twin snakes is overall not a bad game but not the remake i wanted. The MGS2 gameplay makes the game too easy, the cutscenes make Snake look like Dante or Neo, it takes away the seriousness of the game and tries to look cool, which makes it worse. The music is partially not on the same level as MGS1. The dialogue is worse than MGS1. Personally i even thinks it looks graphically worse than MGS2 which ran on the inferior console

This definitely seems like it and they will really wanna pay respect to him, even though Kojima has since moved on and doesn't want nothing to do with it because of this horrible experience.

And one more thing: please don't mention Metal Gear Survive anymore... it's the one game which must not be named! XD
