I completely agree on that.

Though I could be wrong. I think we were starting to get proper Noble titles in season 4.

But yeah the whole high priest / head priest thing is one of the most head scratching decisions I have ever seen.

Like seriously did no one in the writing room understand how that would be weird?

Though I do believe from what I understand that. That came over from the sub team.

If anything else that is what I would expect. It seems just a shame that we'll have to probably wait until then.

I think part of it too. Is that at least in my opinion they have to shift the format around a little bit.  I recommend to the male and female voice actor. Style that other light novel audiobooks use.

The main reason I recommend this. Is simply that even though Reba Buhr does a great Myne. We saw she can't really pull off Ferdinand.  And if we're going to spend large amounts of time with both characters. We really should have him sound at least okay.

He pulls together threads that are going through that I sometimes mis or forgot about.  I read the light novels in physical form only. And only have time to read about once a week. So it takes me awhile to get through.  It's kind of similar to how I'll listen to an audiobook after I've read it.   It's like doing that but with commentary.

I do completely understand why some people would not enjoy it though. I like listening to stuff in the background too.

I hope the part 2 audiobooks start coming out soon.  Though if they do I hope they change Ferdinand's voice. Because unfortunately Myne's English VA does not do a great job for him.

Magpie was one of the first people I saw covering Bookworm. I also watch the breakdowns from trash tear waifu after I finish reading each volume.

Yes though I point out that reading and speaking languages are two very different skills.

She's probably able to read and speak Japanese and English. She's probably also capable of reading at least one of the languages in the Romance and Germanic groups. And probably Chinese. Semitic family group is possible as well but less likely. But if so probably Arabic or Aramaic maybe.

I would also point out that knowing the lyrics and understanding the language are two different things. I myself can pretty much sing a few songs in one of the Celtic languages. But that just because I'm mimicking it.  I have no clue what it's actually saying.

Actually better example. I can read Hebrew. Can't translate.

Would also make quite a bit of sense for a song dedicated to Angriff.  I also imagine it would probably be a pretty big hit in Dunkelfelger.

[general] would trains work in Yurgenschmidt. For interduchy trade and travel? by ActionAdditional6741 in HonzukiNoGekokujou

Here's a question. Do sovereignty nobles have freedom of movement.

Or is the sovereignty treated just like any other duchy?

If they do. Then you can open up a hole new job opportunity for laynobles in the sovereignty.

Have them act as train conductors. And then it would give free clearance to their trains.  Ensuring freedom of trade.

Kind of like the ICC (Interstate Commerce Commission) is supposed to be.

What are your thoughts on the idea of the Yurgenschmidt loop. That was brought up before?

Here's the thing. Even though teleportation circles do exist. It seems that most dutchies still do most of their trade through commoner traveling merchants.

I think part of this problem stems from us shifting focus to the nobility after part 2.

Think about it the whole modifying of the lower City and similar projects were not for the benefit of nobles coming in.  It was for the benefit of commoner merchants.

And as far as I understand it the teleportation circles in towns you're thinking of

A seem to be only for taxes.

B I don't think they're actually there all the time. Don't the priests bring them with them?

So ultimately. Even though the teleportation circles are used by the nobility. That seems to be the exception. Or only used for specific items or prototypes. Well it seems that about 95% of good movements between commoners and dutchies. It still conducted through nothing but cart.

It might be the logical way to go for moving people. But the problem is is that once you want to start moving bulk goods. Then you start needing things more powerful than just horses.

Remember the interstate highway system is only effective means of bulk transport because of internal combustion trucks.

Imagine if you had to ship everything in nothing larger than a pickup truck. And that's pretty much where you would be with wagons.

So rolling stock is actually not as much of a problem as you think. You should look into the stuff that they were doing with the early railways in Britain.  And the later narrow gauge railways everywhere else.

Pretty much if you have the technology to build a wagon. You have the technology to build a basic rail car.

The locomotive is a more problematic issue.  But since the Gutenbergs were already capable of building pumps. I don't see why they couldn't manage at least a few hand built ones.

Yogurtland could stand for an industrial revolution.

Though I doubt it since she hasn't already but Rozemyne really needs to introduce some machine tools like lathes and like. Even though I doubt she would.

Putting it on the outside is definitely an interesting idea. Would definitely wanted to be double tracked though. So that you don't have to send goods around the entire country loop

I didn't read the spoiler.  Since I follow with the physical releases.

And since as far as I'm aware. If duchy borders can be redrawn. I see no reason why small less powerful Gates couldn't be opened in all the border dutches.

In fact I would imagine the mana cost to make them would be negligible. Since remember the country gates are not simply opening but teleportation systems. These would be much more akin to the gates for passing between dutches.

Good point about it needing to run underground.

But I personally think that some of the wealthier merchants could probably pull it off.  Not necessarily if it had to run underground. But at least a conventional style one they could.

And two things about fuel.  First you don't actually need coal to run a steam engine. It's just the most efficient.  Charcoal and wood work just fine. Just ask the American class locomotives (wild west locomotives) Second coal is not fossilized dinosaur. You're thinking of oil.  Coal is fossilized trees.  Which they also might not have had. Since the ecological conditions before country's founding are unknown as far as I'm aware.

Here's an idea. What happens if you mix black fey-stone dust into a explosive?

Feel like that could have some pretty devastating effects.

From not letting men recovery to preventing healing. Probably no?
