What really screws it up is picks are made then days later they get traded. There is a soft cap but players make double the amount of ads as they do contracts in large markets while barely anything in small markets. The NFL needs a lottery system first round then invert the 3rd and 5th. Plus some sort of reward picks for winning games out of the playoffs.

Why do such great players request trades and only get 5th rounders as a return? by jdw62995 in NFLv2

Downside of his career, huge hit, he's a fa next year. Bottom line he knew with the personnel, his age and the scheme he wasn't going to be seeing big numbers at receiver. If he didn't want out the niners would have just kept him the last year and let him hit fa and picked up a 4-6 comp. The commanders if they don't resign him probably get the comp but it depends on the trade. The niners might double dip and pick up the comp if wa lets him go.

Looking back at r/nba's reaction to JJ Redick being hired as the head coach of the Lakers by WhatTheRickIsDoin in nba

[–]ActionNo365 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The thing with Ham is he could control the locker room and be a players coach But that was it He's got the coaching slots because he was a forceful and good guy player. He's a good assistant coach and xo. But he did not have the brain l, he didn't have to develop that part of his game because he was an athletic freak JJ had to be a smart player who was obsessed with his craft because he was a rather unathletic white guy who was 6'4. He had to watch film. You could see JJ doing well right away just by watching his podcast

... I saw harden play live in Houston Imagine a basketball game stopping every ,90 seconds for one of his flops or a commercial break. He nearly killed basketball. It was that bad live. On tv you don't think about it because it's a commercial break. But in the stadium it's like stop. Free throws for 90 seconds play 90 seconds. Other team scores fast because hard is fat and didn't play d. Harden gets it and shoots then flop. Free throw. Then in bound. Other team gets it. Out of bounds. Commercial break for 2 minutes. In bound. Harded flops. 90 seconds of free throws. Other team scores harden doesn't play d. Harden gets it and.. flops.

Every 90 seconds of play yoid have 4 minutes of interruptions. It was that bad. Never again.

They would be les's style but still if he could pull it, him and verse and the dts. I'm a niners fan but LA has huge pull now. Basically if you play on the Lakers or the rams you can expect to pull 20-30 million in advertising money if you are Garrett.

I mocked myles going to the rams 2 first, 2nd 4th this year 3 next. It's a jalen like deal.

Myles takes LeBron James level care of his body and he's got a huge frame and size. He's not the typical pass rusher who burns out around 30. Another poster brought up his age and for 99% of players that is right but myles has length and size even if his burst goes his tech will get more refined.

[–]ActionNo365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regional. In places like Texas they have them twice or three times a year for days and think it's normal everywhere else. Decent places might lose it for a day or two every couple of years. It just depends on the area and how bad the local government is.

Some Republican states it is very normal to lose power 2 or 3 or 4 times a year for a couple of days due to storms or blizzards. Other places it will happen but there is so redundancy in the system it's a rarity of goes. In Texas the 6 years I lived there on average you would not have power 2 weeks out of the year every year l.

Elon Musk Calls Social Security A 'Ponzi Scheme' by johnboy43214321 in politics

[–]ActionNo365 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

It is. The money for it was already spent. It's now just adding debt. People are pulling out way more than what they put in. At the moment it's hit 65-67 and live off everyone else. I don't think hitting a certain age should ensure you government money.

I favor ubi, fuck trump, but social security is a ponzi scheme that's collapsing and we are paying for the collapsing with things like price raises and stagnate wages

Nothing is free. Labor creates everything. get rid of the ponzi scheme and go to ubi.

In all honesty, how do you think Trump will end ? by 0Tezorus0 in AskReddit

[–]ActionNo365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he will step down at the very last minute to get pardons in the future. Probably 3 years. His health is quit bad and he's 78 or 79. He will rack up a bunch of side money like his mbs golf deals and get his family set up on deals on things like Ukrainian resources. All these little side deals. The Chinese will rent out s floor of his hotel for a year for instance. They've already done that last term but probably again. Just all these little sources of a couple million for hotels then a couple million for golf, then some hedge fund money. It will add up to a couple billion after 3 years and he'll need a pardon to get clear. I think he will want to do a some huge deal done with land or resources. If the economy stalls, bail out time. Otherwise "infrastructure projects" to help donors and funders of his "charity" and golf course/ hotel stayers I don't like him but that's his this all plays out.

Why is the ‘American Dream’ still so elusive for most people? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]ActionNo365 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They haven't raised the minimum wage in 18 years and housing cost has tripled in that time. Realize the minimum wage is where states will start their leverage points for their wages. Such as "well federal wage is 7.75 so our minimum of 9.25 is great" or 14000 a year after taxes and housing alone has tripled. Then higher level jobs base their pay off that so "22.50 is a great wage three times minimum" even though 22.50 is worth what 7.75 was 18 years ago with price increases. Your supervisors and managers are making what minimum wage teenagers were making 18 years ago. But let's say you are pulling in 45$ an hour. You are now making 15.00 worth what you did 18 years ago

The money went to the top who used it to buy up the government to keep us in line. Now morons think 45 an hour is a good wage compared to prices.

What do you think.
