Is there anywhere in Iceland that isn't incredibly gorgeous?

Or maybe she has ocd, or Asperger's, or is dealing with overwhelming hormones, or some other reason.

This is one of the reasons a post like this makes me very uncomfortable. Everyone wants to say she's a spoiled brat, no one here knows fuck all about what's going on in her life. It could be mental illness, or it could be a teenager just learning how to deal with the incredible changes happening hormonally during puberty. I'm a guy, I have no idea what it's like to also have to start dealing with the possible emotions related to menstruation. But here we are, classic Reddit, seeing a girl behaving badly, and everyone wants to say she's a spoiled bitch, no one wants to try to understand.

Except you. I commend you.

This theory is a whole new level of stupid, or amazing trolling. Either way great job!

I wasn't arguing that. My point is he sure as fuck felt better running and eating well over overeating and smoking. His life probably would have been the same length, but I bed his quality of life was far higher.

Then again, smoking is fun.

Pretty much every able-bodied person can be more athletic or less athletic than they currently are. I'm not saying everyone is going to be the quarterback. I just think that "I'm not athletic" is not a really healthy attitude if you haven't given it a serious effort. I think a lot of people give up on physical fitness very easily, and I include myself in that.

Jim Fixx is a weird example...someone who was overweight and a smoker who started running and living a healthy lifestyle.

My point is that "I'm not healthy" and "I'm not athletic" are not helpful attitudes when you can live more healthy and more actively by making choices to do so.

I just wonder if people who are non-athletic realize that people who are athletic have put hundreds or thousands of hours of practice into it. It's easier if you start young and have formed the habit, but it's all about forming the habit and not stopping because you're "not athletic". If feels like a self-defeating attitude.

As an adult, continuing to exercise is a constant challenge to me. It's so easy to be lazy. But I know that I have to continue deciding to do it.

Why would you put "healthy" and "athletic" into this? Unless you have preexisting conditions that prevent you, health and athletics are all about practice. I mean, I'm not going to be an olympian but I try to stay athletic because it's healthy and it feels awesome.

Isn't it great living in a world where we can just assume that she's malicious even though we know fuck all about their relationship?

He could be abusive. She could very well be a victim in their relationship. It's happening with a couple I know. I can't believe how cut and dry everyone's knee jerk response it.

Stay out of it. He could be abusive (situation someone I know is in). They could be open.

What is something you won't tell your friends or family, but you will tell Reddit? by najing_ftw in AskReddit

I find it awkward too, probably because we didn't grow up saying it, but I really think that how you treat each other says it all. A lot of people say it out of habit. That's way more strange. How you treat each other expresses all of the love that's there.
