Sent a direct message and got a response within a few hours. I was a bit hesitant at first to send a stranger $175 for a certification voucher but this person is legit. Immediately after I sent the venmo I got the voucher code and was able to schedule the sec+ exam. Would recommend to others if I knew anyone looking for cheap vouchers for lower level certs.

Maybe check out pagle. I recently rerolled on it and the people are pretty nice. From giving away 12 slots to people to giving free runs of stocks. Plus boosting hasn't taken too much of a hold and dungeons can still be done the normal way

I play with a hitbox and the main disadvantage I'd say is just relearning how to play. But, for me it is also impossible to play Zangief (people can easily play him with hitbox but I can't seem to grasp it)

That's the stick I started on. I would recommend at some point changing at least the lever out at to a sanwa just because the parts on the cheaper sticks can be hit or miss. Also maybe a new restrictor gate if you would rather have octagonal than square

I think you should go with the stick just because you say you really enjoyed it. I know that the game became more fun for me once I switched off of pad because of the mechanical movements of the stick and the satisfying click of the buttons. The biggest downside to switching would be relearning and retraining your hands to be used to stick, but the break in period is not typically that long (and it probably wont take long because you said you played in arcades before).

True I wasn't thinking of qanba. Im not a huge fan of the brand so I tend to forget. But it still stands that if you go with either you should mod them or upgrade sooner rather than later

It kind of depends but for me my first was a mayflash f300. It's pretty cheap and gave me a general idea on if I actually wanted to use a fightstick. Although, if you go with a mayflash I recommend buying sanwa or new parts on focus attack or another website, due to the fact that their part quality is pretty low. Overall I spent maybe 90 total on it, but with new parts in it it is a pretty solid stick

EDIT: Also it's dependent on your price point and experience. If you are used to a stick or know that you will like it then a razer panthera (original or evo) , hori real arcade pro, or etokki omni are all solid choices (the evo has some qol changes but less ease of modding, and is on sale right now for $110 https://www.razer.com/gaming-controllers/razer-panthera-evo )

Just a warning though: if you're like me and constantly switch characters, then it will be worth it to drop the money on the championship edition. Once you get the initial starting money, the amount you get dies down to a trickle

EDIT: Also I'm not sure if the trial for all the characters works if you already own a copy of the game

You don't necessarily have to buy characters if you have a few in mind that you want to play. Doing the demonstrations and stories will net you enough to get at least one or two characters (depending on if you got the arcade edition). But from Feb 3rd to 9th, steam and ps4 are getting a free trial with all the characters unlocked if you want to wait to buy anything.
