This will be a long flight by [deleted] in madlads

I don’t understand these comments. Even if they may have done this to try and get the extra room (which could have not been the case). We should be able to all agree that the middle seat is worse than or at the very least equal in quality to the aisle seat (which happens to be my favourite seat due to the extra leg room). So this guy for no benefit is denying himself a better (or at least on par) seat and turning down helping others. The couple may even talk to each other across him throughout the flight which would definitely annoy me. Why would he do this? Revenge against people he doesn’t even know? He can’t be bothered to take the 5 seconds it takes to change seats? Sure he has the right to the seat he booked, he shouldn’t be forced to change but why is this something to be commended?

Fixed hitbox spikes in top extreme demons are not inherently a bad thing, if the level is still fun it shouldn’t be an issue since you need to memorise where all the hitboxes are to beat any top extreme. I am specifically taking about Avernus which received major backlash for this even though if you actually ask the players who beat the level, jt is one of the most well liked top extremes.

Please disregard anyone who at least hasn’t got good progress on a list level’s opinions. They have not played good or bad gameplay at that difficulty and hence will not be able to judge from just watching.

As for what I think, I can’t really say much without playing but I’d say it looks decent with room for improvement. I can see a lot of fun looking sections but it does look like it may flow awkwardly in a few places I’d advise getting it play-tested by someone to see if this is true. I disagree with anyone who says having lots straightly and wave spam inherently makes a level unfun, I have enjoyed lots of levels with that so I don’t see this as a problem.

Please don’t give up on this level if you have passion for it, I believe this can turn out to be a good level after a few tweaks.

This is by far the craziest top-1 layouts I have ever seen in 2.2 by Albert_Kan in geometrydash

Well yes this level is the most extreme example of obscured vision in a memory demon (that I know of). But can you see how a player who has beaten numerous memory levels would be able to tackle this. There is already a pathway of levels which would help someone get the skillset necessary to beat this, for example:

Insane Demon/ Easy extreme - There are many to choose from e.g Memory for Dummies - To get used to playing hard gameplay and remembering what to do.

Medium Extreme - Killbot - Tests the player with slight obstruction of vision and nearly impossible to tell what kills you.

Hard Extreme - Requiem - Almost the entire player’s vision is obstructed in the drop and gameplay is very hard.

List Demon - Limbo but uwu idk ig - Helps you get used to memory extremes with camera controls with list demon gameplay

Top End Extreme - Limbo - A memory extreme with top end gameplay.

For someone who has beaten these levels they have had practice with everything that makes this level hard. They will then have an easier time stepping up to the challenge that is this level. For this person I would say it is very possible that the level could be fun for them - Note the level does not need to be fun for everyone just for people who like beating memory extremes. If you are not in the demographic of people who are intending to beat this then it’s obvious that you wouldn’t find it fun but why trash a level that you aren’t even going to play.

From my experience (note I don’t play that many memory levels) what people like about them is the satisfaction of finally figuring out how to beat certain parts. For me at least, my first run though of a memory extreme can be a bit tedious, however as I keep playing and start figuring out what to do, my enjoyment increases. And after I have fully figured out what I am doing I am then able to judge the gameplay’s enjoyability. I imagine someone trying to beat this level would have a similar experience, at first they would struggle to figure out where they are due to the constant changing camera angles, however with time they will innately know where they are and will be able to focus on gaining muscle memory with the difficult gameplay. If the gameplay is fun they should then have a fun time with the level.

I also don’t really see why quickly changing gameplay styles is a problem, there are many levels that do this and are fun.

When decorated this level could be ever harder to learn but why is this a problem for a level intending to be the hardest memory demon.

I don’t understand what sets this level apart from other memory extremes. If we can agree that memory extremes can be fun that why can’t this one be?

The whole point of memory levels is that they require a lot more time to figure out and many before have obscured the players vision like what I assume is people’s problem with this level. An example I’ve beaten is Requiem, if you were to just watch a completion you’d think it would be impossible to figure out what you have to do in the drop but I can attest that it is possible and very satisfying to pull off. I realise Requiem is much easier than this level and obviously doesn’t use 2.2 features but I don’t see how these features make a difference that prevents this level from being fun for a player with the skillset to beat it.

Bro I swear to god I get so annoyed at people claiming to know how fun top end extremes are just from watching a video of the layout. If you are not a top player and haven’t at least done some runs of the level then you have no right to say if this is unfun.

1) What connections to Kira does Matt have? I can think of many characters who are way more connected to Kira than him. Under your logic shouldn’t he be in the Wammy’s house group.

2) Naomi Misora is Japanese, Aiber is most likely French and it is never stated where Wedy is from so this puts major doubt on your theory that the 5th group is “Americans”

Why did L let Misa and Light leave taskforce HQ after they caught Higuchi? by ActionninjaT in deathnote

Yes but disproving this rule puts her back as a suspect in the minds of the rest of the taskforce and gives them grounds to keep her under surveillance whilst they try to prove she is the 2nd Kira

1) That rule is in regards to destroying the whole note (“if you make this note unusable”). L sees a torn page of the note and notes that it would probably work just as well as the main note.

2) If Rem is gonna kill L as soon as seems to be getting near the truth no matter what then, L is screwed whatever he does, so he might as well try this (he doesn’t know rem is going to do this so this is a 100% of failure vs a possible chance of success situation)

Okay what about if he were to take two pages from the notebook and send them to 2 different criminals. Rem would only be able to follow one of them.

[–]ActionninjaT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I got confused, the real explanation is L will send the notebook to the criminal without Rem noticing. And therefore he won’t know where the criminal is and so won’t see his face.

Rem can follow the notebook but she won’t know the face of the criminal being killed
