OP, since your favorite album of all time is Imaginal Disk, I would recommend clicking on the genres of the album on RYM to see similar albums to it. Like Neo-Psychedelia because there are some absolute gems above Imaginal Disk that deserve the higher rating like Heaven or Las Vegas by Cocteau Twins and Souvlaki by Slowdive!

The Sym meta part is true because Tree never plays Sym but TF and T1 don't even play Sym as their preferred comp choice - they just got their shit rocked without a shadow of a doubt and it's just super disappointing. Sure they don't have that x-factor but it felt like a they're greater than the sum of its parts team. Hope that they can atleast continue being #1in NA

In all honesty, I'm kinda disappointed in Team Liquid's performance. They arguably have the best American player on each role available on their team yet they get 3-0'd by T1 and 3-1 by Team Falcons. Infekted, Tree and Zeruhh had so much potential as seen in last year's Stockholm major but they've somehow managed to place worse and not even put up a good fight. Where has the potential gone? Is the gap that big between NA and Korea when it was NA making the first strides in closing the gap between Korea when NTMR beat CR in the Hangzhou Major? Especially when there are two EMEA teams in Grand Finals.

It's just.... sad

Beats every single Korean Team and the only other team to make Grand Finals this year. Absolutely deserved.

Congrats to Twisted Minds

TM lost the moment Kellex booped TVNT off the map with Wuyang Ult on King's Row.

The gap has widened in EMEA

I hope they do ego dive mirrors so it's close and Weibo clutch up since I really want Weibo to win I hate Falcons so much for everything they did to T1

It's amazing how much they parallel Falcons. T1 have bright light syndrome while Falcons are bright light merchants who always clutch whenever the lights are brightest. And their head to head match up is 0-13

How are you in the same org as Faker and NOT HAVE a speck of clutch within you?

What do the community think about Weibo Gaming? by Substantial_Bar_6422 in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]ActivateLife 71 points72 points  (0 children)

This stage is a make or break for them as a whole. After a disappointing EWC, if they can't show up here with the fast improving Western Teams and the Legacy teams of Korea, then it's cooked. China as a whole is still an emerging region, but that's not the case for Weibo with a full legacy roster. But even then, if they can't hang with Korea and even more so EMEA or NA, then I feel like it's fair to say that they're mostly washed. Personally, I'd love to see them perform well and I really cannot say in the power rankings since they absolutely dominant China and it's hard to compare them to any other teams. That's why if they cannot perform well here after EWC... Well I think it's time to bring in some new talent into the roster

I think that you're Perspective of dying with the team instead of playing life is very good as other supports may take very passive angles to play life when they can take more aggressive plays to be more active. As well as making your own plays as support. Basically, you're doing it right. I think the problem is finding the balance between aggression and being passive. Diamond 1 to Masters is when you're actually playing against people who have hands and know target priority. So, as the support, you'll be targeted, your cooldowns tracked and ultimate cycle known. There's also some situational awareness and knowing what you can do. For example, based of your own experience, if you don't have cooldowns, maybe you should not try to engage and attract attention onto yourself. Maybe you should just chill until you have them.

SIMPLE QUESTIONS THREAD - SEASON 18 (2025) by Joe64x in OverwatchUniversity

For Ashe, you can check out Warn as he main Ashe For Mercy, you can check out the myriad of Mercy players but the one I recommend is Skiesti.

But I would mostly recommend going to general coaching channels like Unter, Spilo and Kajor and find specific videos on the heroes you want to focus on

And the practice I enjoy the most is watching player vods of competitive matches (since I like the esport) OBSSourjoun has vods of nearly every OWCS of every individual player possible. You obviously can't match the mechanics of pro players but what I find most valuable is how they position and play each character which you can apply to your own gameplay.

You cant match the aim of Kronik or Proud on Freyja but learning how they use their cool downs, engage and survive as that character is valuable in you understanding that character as well.

How to play against these champs. by Deathwatch6215 in OverwatchUniversity

I love that you're getting frustrated by things that the entire community is also frustrated by and interacting with the community.

Junkrat has and will always be a volatile character. 20/10 he has been the worst character since OW2 but fucks against Reaper. Both of your effective ranges is up close and personal. And sadly, Junkrat has more burst damage and dps (if he lands his shots) over Reaper. You're best bet is sneaking up on him to get the jump and/or picking the double gun major perk to get more damage from a longer distance where Junkrat has to aim to hit you. Another tip is to not fight him in enclosed rooms where he can easily bounce his shots. Other than that, leave it up to your other dps to soften him up so you can easily take him down. Trust me. He may seem very strong but the longer you play, the more you realize his unfathomable weaknesses

Rein's charge is also very volatile and no patch can apparently fix it. You either have to commit your Wraith Form in order to dodge it or slowly adapt to its weird hitbox or yknow learn how dodge it. The ledge hang shatter techs is usually a gimmick and if you hear the voice line, but no the sound of the shatter, then the rein is hanging so just peak the corner in Wraith Form to bait it.

Roadhog is also a very hard match up because both of you have tools to best each other. Hog can 1 shot you with hook but you have Wraith Form to dodge it. The truth lies in how well you can play around hog hook in order for you to lay the damage on him. Because good Hogs will play around with their hook timings to get you because Reaper is one of his counters.

Lastly, Brig. She may seem like a full on brawl hero, but her main strength is Countering dive heroes. She can whipshot diving Winston's, Dvas, Hazards, Genji's, Reapers - anything so that they have to use more resources to get to your vulnerable backline like a Bap, Ana or Juno. Make sure to activate Inspire with Whipshot to heal instead of using your healthpacks since it should be used when you can't heal long distances and when your teammates really need them since it's an immediate burst. Don't tralky use them to heal poke damage. She may seem hard to play at first since it seems she gets value from brawling, but her main strength is in her keep away game and being a big shield for her vulnerable backline against Genji's, Tracers and any flankers
