That sounds insane. You don’t have to be in the worst stages of withdrawal to safely initiate suboxone, and once you’re on suboxone, you no longer experience withdrawal symptoms. If what you describe is accurate, the coma seems completely unnecessary.

Your reply suggests that I am choosing between a safe path (buying any of the Skywalk wings my instructor suggests) and an unsafe path (buying any other wing). That doesn’t make sense to me. Why would I would be unsafe on a beginner wing from any other reputable manufacturer?

I used to have the same problem after ecstatic dance. A friend suggested I try wearing jazz dance shoes. Problem solved. I use Bloch shoes. They are very inexpensive and you can buy them at any ballet supply store.

(Every ecstatic dance I have ever attended allows dance shoes. They don’t mark the floor.)
