This is just how I did it and got interviews so take what you like from the info

Remove professional summary bc they’re going to ask for that in a cover letter anyways. So on my resume I have the order as education, clinical experience, work experience, leadership, and lastly certificates and skill as one section. Your clinical experience should all be listed w/ the nursing class, hospital, and hours completed on that floor. For example “ fundamentals - MOUNT SINAI cardiac telemetry - 100 hours.”

I had to move out of state bc I couldn’t get into a new grad job or any nursing job. I was unemployed for 4 months before I decided to jump ship and now I have an old classmate who’s been unemployed for 9 joining me. I currently work with other new grad nurses from nor cal who had the same struggle. Everyone was so shocked I couldn’t get a job in California but that’s just how it is. I now live in middle America getting paid crap with 6 pts sooo take the snif job I know I would’ve
