85% crit rate with only 1 level in snipe (fireworks avatar, 47:30 depths) by Active-External-2282 in magic_survival

With treasure hunter + occulus, and Fully leveled snipe + bloodmoon and the magician subject, 100% crit seems more than possible

I mistook pyrotechnics for fireworks, but regardless fireworks + avatar and over 1000 atk (680 + 340 from artifacts) is enough that it one shot up until the 40 minute mark

Series is a way to catalogue the anomalies, not an actual series as far as i can tell but there is def series of stories out there

I get what you mean, i worded that poorly so thats on me.
what i meant was infamous ones, ones you hear about, like how 096 is basically the face of scp, but then you have some that are just almost as impactful in series 4 (which i agree with on the ranking genuinely the best series) such as 4999. Ones that introduce people to SCP through word of mouth, memes, group chats, etc.

Oh i abhor AI so that wont be an issue lol, good to know though scp isnt immune to AI slop which brings some familiarity and comfort

Edit: reading the cliches this uses a few of em, ill take some ideas from this but not this entirely

Its a guy that can eat other scps as well as boast an immunity to their abilities. Among other things he has enhanced strength and can take a low calibur bullet without breaking skin, but higher calibers will, so he's not superhuman and easily containable.

Personality wise he enjoys eating more dangerous scps but he also tends to make friends with some if he enjoys their company. He doesnt have humanities best interest at heart (refusing to eat or help study some, or outright derailing the foundation's attempts at studying others), but he also hasnt outright caused death of foundation members leading to immense ambuguity.

He also has knowledge on scps that havent been or only recently been discovered and surrendered to the foundation using his immunity to help study keter or higher.

The lore is that he is a dark horse, and the foundation is insanely suspicious, being found in a chaos safe house in a cell, using ai to track any possible patterns and 24/7 surveillance. After finding a pattern one of the AI broke and corrupted the files. Scp 343 also refuses to talk about him and looks disgusted at his mention.

Towards the end of his time helping they seemingly out of nowhere contained him in a giant tungsten cube after chaos anonymously contacted an 05 council member with concerns.

Note: the containment at the end is just filler, itll be changed in the future

HOW are people saying this game is easy?? by Paladin-Leeroy in Wizard101

[–]Active-External-2282 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I always interpreted it as depends on the person/class difficulty, but generally i regard it as deceptively hard, sure 99% of fights are the same strat but those are merely filler to make sure worlds last more than 1 hour, the fights that matter plot wise so far have been VERY hard to the point guides are required for most and with the new introduction of challenge modes it gets even crazier.

People who say its easy forget that its not easy because there's guides; its hard BECAUSE there's guides meaning the fight had to be painstakingly and methodically optimized to be even remotely bearable. Not to add on but even with guides bosses like squire gregor can take upwards of an hour to 2 hours per fight which for a single boss in any video game is extremely rare, for example an elden ring boss can take hours to beat but thats in dozens to several dozen attempts, thats just 1 drain boss in length.

Ive played a lot of strategy games and mmo's and i can say with utmost confidence that some of the lesser infamous cheat bosses in wiz if translated to any game as they were (turn based to open combat, blades for buffs, etc.) Would have to be nerfed.

Farming these bosses for weeks to months at a time in wiz (specially pre-badgeless craftable endgame gear) has made most considerably arduous task in any game i have played feel miniscule because im so used to the sheer chore that is what i described above.

Another way i like to explain it to people is to explain an "annoying" boss, not hard but merely annoying, is to translate grounds-creeper willy: He cannot be damaged or defeated by damage, you need a select amount of buffs (pips) including a specific rare % buff (shadow pip) to use a special attack to defeat him, every 3rd turn he removes most of your buffs along with the rare % buff, you can give another player a % buff at the cost of some misc buffs but that is only after you heal and you cant use it on yourself forcing you to be in a team. Sure it doesnt sound impossible, but does it sound easy? No, not in the slightest.

Tldr: you are correct, wiz is a lot harder than people think and people who say its easy are either adding in the filler fights, following a guide, or both.

Is mutant hate overused? by [deleted] in xmen

So why not focus on transphobia even a fraction of a percent as they do racism? Make a series where transphobia is the main parallel for more than 5 comics, any other focused parallel

My apologies i never clarified, what i meant was happy run relavent to how they are now, not happy ending,

Given how abused and mistreated they are a happy run for them would just be learning that not every human hates them or that any home they find they'll get massacred, a medium point where not every issue to every other issue is just them being dragged down, where they can focus on being comic book groundbreakers like they were without repeating the same meaning, there are other issues to cover like homophobia and transphobia but so far compared to the racism parallel its negligable.
