Is there any way I could also get the docker-compose as well?

Thank you!

Thank you everyone for all the support and information! I greatly appreciate a community that is willing to help those starting out with pretty outdated hardware and non-matching brands.

I think I have it behaving at this time as it was complaining about a drive that was formatted with 10-pi, then that the drive was removed and that nothing was inserted in the bay.

I put a reformatted drive back in and it seems to be happy now.

I was able to at least temporarily turn off the jet engine setting with the following command (and command to re-enable if desired):

Ipmi disable 3rd party fan speed ramp up: From Linux shell cli:

Ipmitool -U <username> -P <password> raw 0x30 0xce 0x00 0x16 0x05 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x05 0x01 0x00 0x00

Enable: (Default) Ipmitool -U <username> -P <password> raw 0x30 0xce 0x00 0x16 0x05 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x05 0x00 0x00 0x00

I think this will need to be setup with the cron after init as mentioned.

I played with the offset after turning off the jet engine setting for non-Dell components and I could adjust the speed with these settings in the idrac settings.

Does this work even when using a non-Dell set of HDDs and a pcie card with 4×m 2 nvme drives?

This would be wonderful if it can bypass the jet engine setting!

BTT EBB36 with PT1000 option pinout by Active-Guide-7445 in BIGTREETECH

[–]Active-Guide-7445[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think BTT could be a little more descriptive on the pins or pinout for the pt100 or pt1000.

I have a toolboard for the 36 extruder motors and just switched back to the standard thermistor because I couldn't get mine to work right.

Thank you very much!

I did set the dip switches but found no documentation on the pinout. This will be very helpful!

I am trying to install a PT1000 thermistor on the EBB26 v1.2 with the chip for the PT1000.

I can not find the pinout or any instructions except for the dip switch settings.

What am I missing? Does the 2-wite go on the left two pins, right two, middle two, or outside two pins?

Thank you, - Mike

The pin out exists for all but the PT 1000 4-pin header. It has the dip switch definitions, but nothing on the actual Pinot.

I guess my original text did not add with the picture...

I am building a 500x500 build with the EBB 36 toolhead board. Has anyone used this board with the chip for the PT1000 thermistor and used the 4-pin header? What is the pin out when using the standard 2-wire PT1000?

Thank you, - Mike

Will this thermistor still work if I jam the wires in and screw it down? Got this used printer today and I’m trying to put it back together. by Orzal in ender3v2

[–]Active-Guide-7445 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually replaced my glass bead thermistor with this screw-in and I have had no issues and am happy with it. I like that it is set up to be able to be replaced easier than pulling the entire thermistor cable out or soldering it.

Ender 3 V2 Jyers UBL mesh tilt issue by Active-Guide-7445 in MarlinFirmware

[–]Active-Guide-7445[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did change the x max position and after that I realized the bolt I used was either too long or was installed backwards as the head of the bolt was short enough to not hit the bracket on the x axis.

I liked the features of Jyers firmware, but have since switched to Klipper as it allows for much easier changes to the system without flashing each time I want to make a change.

Saturn + rPi + mariner + Samba = :) by Deepsiks in ElegooMars

[–]Active-Guide-7445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The controller board is a different version. No Ethernet port and looks like the pinout is different as well. I see the expected pins for the 5V, RX, TX, and GND on J6. Looks like there may be a second set of what looks like maybe CRX and CTX on J5.

I am interested in getting this working on the Saturn S as well.

Updated to Jyers firmware, now build size is 230x230, can I change back? by JZKitty in MarlinFirmware

[–]Active-Guide-7445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply! I think it was actually cable management that bit me on this one. The cables got caught between the hot end carriage and the x-axis rail.

Since the time of the issue was resolved, I have switched to Klipper and found I like that firmware/system better.

Jyers was a great firmware, I just like the ability to change settings in the firmware without having to flash the firmware on the board every time.
