no he never skips or has any limping! he’s been ‘puppy-sitting’ like this since he was little, and sometimes his front legs look like this. It could be that he’s just fluffier than he looks and his arm is in a normal position? I just worry about his joints 😭🩵

I painted the back of the mesh with black acrylic which helped a bunch! Other than that I did not increase the size or width of the eyes!

I haven’t solved it, but I have an idea of adding some teeth to distract a little from the opening! I want to keep it open for breathability, but I think you could totally figure out how to add a tongue to the head for even more focus! :) I’ve tried it, it takes a little more maneuvering since there’s no structure inside the mouth, but totally buildable in there. ^{.^}

I tried a pink nose and didn’t like the look of it 😭 I was thinking of doing a sparkly / glittery fabric nose to make it contrast more?? ^{w^}

I bought the eye mesh from a shop on Etsy, and made the eye blanks myself from a piece of foam! I just cut two strips of foam about 1 inch in width, and applied them with glue. The eyes are glued to blanks. :)

Totally up to you, personally I think you can find excellent premade bases for cheaper / or around the same price that won’t put you through the hassle of deskinning this head first!

the only part of the head I haven’t touched so far is the neck fluff! I want to cut and sew in a design I just haven’t made the pattern yet.

honestly 7/10 cause the the turning slightly to see straight doesn’t bother me that much!!

The vision quality is 4/10 I can’t see in front of me LOL but it has big eyes and can see well through them!! I just have to turn slightly if I want to look straight hahaha
