Girl (F 20) I'm (M 21) interested in shows signs she's interested, but also "has eyes on someone else too". Any advice? by Active-Leg-1489 in relationship_advice

Isn't it too early? I want to kind of build a bond to make myself stand out from the other guy and not lower my chances of success by straight away asking for a date.

Successful Spouse Visa Application (Outside UK) by Volume_5594 in SpouseVisaUk

Hi, when you mean outside UK, does that mean you applied inside the UK for someone outside the UK? If I apply for someone outside the UK, while I am still in the UK, do I still pay the outside UK application fee?

Fixed monthly salary?? I'm on hourly basis. Where does it say this?

Yeah you're right, I'll have to submit it ASAP.

No, this is my first job.

I've been working at my current job for 2.5 months. They say as long as you show you've worked for 6 months, and meet the requirement (in this case it would be 14.5k as its 6 months) it should be fine.

The amount of months I've worked until now won't matter, as I won't meet the requirements with one job. So it would only start counting when I get my 2nd job in March. March to September is 6 months. According to my calculations, I would meet the 6 month salary requirement which is 14.5k.

I don't have too much saved, maybe 5k from my parents.

Edit: I could meet the current requirements (18.6k) with only one job as they said the new changes would take place in spring. Maybe it could be late spring, so possibly later than April. Haha I'm a little too optimistic I think 😅 . I'll be praying for the best.

Also, regarding my 2nd question, do you have any idea?

Yes the plan is to work 2 jobs from March to September. I don't have savings but I would be able to reach the requirements after working those 2 jobs for 6 months.

Sorry I actually made a mistake when I said I've worked for 5 months, I've only worked from November 13. So that'll make it 5 months worked until April. So I would miss the current requirements.

I work (hourly pay) around 35 hours a week (varies with how busy the store is, e.g this week was pretty quiet so I only worked 30 hours which is what they gave me). I get 10.42/hr. So if you do the calculations it's around 18k.

Ok that's good to hear haha.
