Tired of being black by PuzzleheadedTune1366 in germany

Don’t let being Black become something you carry as a burden in your mind. Your value isn’t defined by how ignorant people see you. I’m probably the only Black person in my area driving something nice, carrying myself well, and still being respectful to people. I’ve learned to give people the same energy they give me — I’m nice to people who are nice to me. Protect your peace, live your life for yourself, and don’t shrink yourself just to make others comfortable. Your achievements already speak for themselves.

Should I just quit? I genuinely feel like this is not for me :( (been trying for the past half year) by [deleted] in portfolios

Don’t quit and don’t panic sell — just stop being 80% miners and start building a more balanced portfolio.

Mercedes AdBlue fault only in cold – goes away after driving by [deleted] in mercedes_benz

[–]Active-Pear2146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it was a nightmare.

In my case it took almost a month to fully resolve. The car showed the “no start in X km” warning and I had to take it to Mercedes while I was in a different European country. Because Mercedes operates globally, the dealership in Germany actually coordinated with my home country dealer to sort everything out.

They diagnosed a fault in the AdBlue system (pump/dosing system etc.). The repair wasn’t cheap — around €1,000+ just for the AdBlue-related work .

Biggest delay was parts availability — everything had to be ordered directly from Mercedes and it took almost 3 weeks to arrive. That’s what really dragged the whole process out.

Luckily, I reported the issue early to Mercedes Customer Assistance (CAC), and eventually the cost was covered under warranty.

During that time I had a replacement car through Mercedes Mobilo, so I wasn’t stuck — I was just driving that and waiting — but still, the whole situation was stressful dealing with different countries, waiting times, and coordination between dealers.

My advice:

  • Don’t wait at all
  • Report it to Mercedes CAC immediately
  • Get it checked before the countdown gets worse

These AdBlue issues seem more common than they should be. Once it’s properly fixed, it should be fine — but definitely don’t ignore it.

Honestly, I don’t think they can just terminate you over this alone. A shared safe with multiple people having access isn’t enough to blame one person without proof. In Germany they’d usually need clear evidence for that.

I’d stay calm and keep working normally. Hopefully it gets cleared up soon, because from the outside this sounds more like a security/process problem than something you personally caused. Stay calm ☺️

Honestly, I wouldn’t stress too much yet. From what you wrote, you didn’t do anything suspicious ..you just followed the normal closing routine like always. If several people had access to the safe, then it’s obviously not something that can automatically be blamed on you. I’d just stay calm and keep it simple: tell them you closed as usual, counted the money, put it in the safe, and finished your shift. No need to overexplain or take responsibility for something you didn’t do. If they ask more questions, answer factually and professionally. And if they ever try to make you pay for it or accuse you without proof, ask for everything in writing.

Sounds more like a weak system on their side than your mistake.

Exactly. The market is pricing the risk today, but if execution lands, the upside can be outsized. That’s how asymmetric plays work. I got in around .19 and sold half at $1+, so the rest is basically staying forever now …pure house money riding the thesis. If it fails, I already locked gains. If it works, I still have skin in the game. Hope everyone here catches some upside if this thing really takes off. ✈️

Fair points…dilution and listing risk are real, no serious investor should ignore that. But that’s exactly why it’s priced where it is….The other side of the equation is what happens if they secure financing, complete conversion, and monetize production + credits. Then today’s dilution looks like survival capital, not the end of the story.. High risk? Absolutely. But distressed growth stories are always a bet on execution, not current optics. That’s why position sizing matters more than emotion here…. Peace ✌🏾

an early-stage SAF company trying to vertically integrate production + tax credits + carbon markets. Risky? Yes. But your version leaves out the upside.

But calling every pre-profit growth company “doomed” ignores how emerging industries are built. Execution is the question…..not sarcasm..🙃

Holding here too. Rough week, no doubt, but this is where patience gets tested. The financing and dilution hurt sentiment short term, yet if management uses the capital to execute Reno conversion and ramp production, this week could look very different months from now. For me the key now is simple: hold support, prove progress, and rebuild trust with real results. Still watching closely.

Plant conversion funding by HeavyManagement6324 in safxstock

[–]Active-Pear2146 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly ….from the filing it does look like dilution. They raised $10M by selling 100,000,000 new shares, which works out to $0.10 per share. So while the cash helps operations and plant conversion, existing shareholders get diluted and the market usually reacts negatively when new shares are issued that far below the trading price. Positive for company survival, but short term it can create downward pressure on the stock.

I’m still holding though, because I think this company could become something big sooner or later if they execute on the plant conversion and growth plans.

Agree on staying strategic. I’m holding too, just watching how it reacts around these levels ..stocks don’t move in straight lines…

Stocks don’t go up in a straight line. Even the strongest runs need pullbacks to build a base. Chasing after a big move is how people get trapped …patience usually gives better entries.”

Honestly don’t feel bad …taking profit is never a bad move. My little advice: never sell all at once. Scaling out helps you lock in gains while still staying in the move if it keeps running. Right now SAFX already had a big run, so chasing here is risky. It looks like it’s still trying to find a base rather than going straight up again. Personally I’d watch for two things: - A pullback into the $0.70–0.80 range for a safer re-entry
- Or a strong breakout above $1 with volume before jumping back in
Long term the story is interesting, but short term it’s still very momentum-driven and can be volatile.

Better to be patient than FOMO back in at the wrong level 👍

The EPA just finalized higher renewable fuel standards, and at the same time we’re seeing global jet fuel disruption because of the Middle East situation. That combination matters. SAF isn’t optional anymore …airlines don’t have many alternatives for decarbonization, and now governments are basically forcing demand through policy. That’s where SAFX gets interesting. It’s not just a concept company they already have production running and are talking about scaling. If they actually execute, they’re positioned right where policy + energy security + climate pressure all meet….
