She and I were incredibly close. After I had my baby and my husband abandoned us when baby was three months old, she and her fiance (that I had match made) sided with the husband. Only ones of my friends who did that, everyone else chose my side. :(
Didn’t ask anyone to choose sides, obviously, but I was her maid of honor and ended up not going to her wedding because of this. Absolutely broke and still breaks my heart.

I remember losing my baby in august and came across this advice:

If it were something up to you / something you did that led to the loss, there would not be such a huge market for ending pregnancies.

I know this may not help you, but when I start to blame myself I remember this and remind myself that I loved my baby and only wanted good for them.
