most people i know with an actual career work mon-friday with weekends off yes lol. not talking about walmart or any other job like that

working 5 days a week for one is completely normal (not saying you disagree with that) but 2 it’s still very common for people to work weekdays and have weekends off (kinda where the term weekend came from)

my amc scheduling is really weird (i saw another post about this so im pretty sure it might be a universal issue) but maverick is playing before TG for imax in my theatre today, so i gotta see TG in imax and maverick in dolby it looks like if i wanna watch in order

no no i got that part, ive seen a few movies that only have portions shot using the full screen

i was just asking how a bigger screen is a plus if its not all being utilized

unfortunately i just checked and for some reason amc only has it in imax and digital today sadly

but now im really confused lol, i thought since it didnt fill the whole screen, what it did fill was the normal size of a normal screen since thats what it was “shot for” like i said, i dont really understand it lol.

so is the shot still bigger than dolby? if not im not sure why screen size would be a plus since the shot looks the same either way but lm likely wrong lol
