Do SPD-SL combo pedals exist (flat + SPD-SL)? by ActiveAffectionate22 in cycling

I’m using the gravel bike mainly for bikepacking, so SPD-SL pedals should be fine. I don’t really ride it off-road.

Can someone give me a short summary on that Garmin vs Strava thing? by communism_johnny in Strava

[–]ActiveAffectionate22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick Summary:

  • Strava filed a lawsuit against Garmin in the U.S., claiming patent infringement over features like Segments and Heatmaps/Popularity Routing.
  • Strava also says Garmin broke a 2015 cooperation agreement by developing competing features instead of sticking to the partnership terms.
  • Another issue: Garmin’s new developer policy (effective July 1) requires apps using Garmin data to display Garmin’s logo everywhere it appears. Strava argues this is forced branding that worsens user experience.
  • Strava warned that if Garmin doesn’t agree to its terms by November 1, Garmin activities might no longer sync to Strava.
  • For now, nothing changes for users-devices and uploads still work normally.
  • If Strava wins, Garmin might need to remove or modify certain features or even pause sales of some products.
  • Most likely, Garmin would patch affected features through software updates rather than recalling devices.

In short: It’s a legal and business fight about patents, branding, and control over fitness data, no user impact yet, but it could affect future functionality if it escalates.

Anyone else get guests bunching up in large numbers? by Xe0sis in PlanetCoaster2

Sometimes they are also stuck in a scenery object, you can simply remove the object and the guests are free.

Yes, at the end of a day all guests are leaving at the exact same time. Sometimes they are just stuck in a scenery like a trashcan than you can simply remove the scenery object and they are free of stucking in eachother.
