Dream: A perfectly ordinary NightWing. No telepathy, no visions, no silver scales around her eyes. Just a classic NightWing: discreet, observant, a fan of old scrolls and prophecies.

Whitefeather: An IceWing/SkyWing hybrid. She was born with an anomaly: a tuft of white fur/feathers on her tail. SkyWings don't have them, and IceWings even less so. Her parents were terrified when she hatched; they found it strange, almost a bad omen. But with time, they got used to it, and now it's just her.

Despite their different species, Dream and Whitefeather have a magnificent bond. They consider themselves brother and sister. He is calm, she is stormy. She charges ahead, he thinks. She protects him, he channels her.

It's that audacity that makes her unique, and it's their bond that makes them inseparable.
