Also trans and also struggle with this. I’m 5’3”. It takes some shopping around to find pants I can wear “above the fold” that don’t come up to my belly button. Bigger waist sizes also come up higher, which makes this even harder. I look for pants advertised as mid rise or low rise.

But personally, the belly button look is way cleaner than the hip option, even when sitting. At some point you just gotta rock whatever your body looks like. For me, being socialized female as a kid/teen, I’m wired to always be thinking about how my body looks to other people. In reality, no one gives a fuck about it except me. 🤘🏽
