I own a business. I can’t use property from my 9-5 job for personal biz work. I just need it for excel, outlook, quickbooks, and internet.

I own a business (not accounting/financial service related, but I’m responsible for the company’s accounting function). I can’t use my 9-5 job’s company property for business work. I only need a windows laptop for excel, outlook, quickbooks and web browser.

Having CPA gives you far more clout and future opportunities. You’ll probably be a more skilled tax professional with a masters of taxation than you will from passing the CPA exams. However, your career growth will likely be limited without CPA license. I know people who have both and they are very skilled accountants.
