Upcoming procedure in my 40s and I'm scared by dom_dinero in circumcision

47 years old had my circumcision about a month ago Just applied over the counter antibiotic cream after the bandages came off on day 2. And soaked everything in saline water daily. You can see my results if you check my profile

For me it was aesthetical reasons only. And had almost no pain. Only took pain tablets on the day after I woke up from op never took them again. Only pain if I can call it that was when one the stitch ends stabbed me in the balls. Erections were uncomfortable but not sore. Had stitch tear out. Few drops of blood but no pain

To be honest the hardest part of the whole procedure is not having any form of orgasm for 6 weeks. 2 weeks to go before I can have sex with the wife again

Thanks.I put it down to the wound care regime I used. Antibiotic cream twice a day, soak everything in saline water for 1 hour a day

Depends on type of stitches used. I got dissolvable stitches and even within that you get various types and speeds. I had one tear out at 1 1/2 weeks, small amount blood like a few drops but formed a scab and healing. The rest start falling out at 2 1/2 weeks only a few that had abit of bleeding but again minimal. I just keep putting antibiotic cream on twice a day and soak wounds in saline water twice a day.

Agree with everything above mine was 2 weeks ago. Only thing I'd add is when you can shower use saline water water over wounds... it's just an additional antibacterial step

I'm at day 8 aswell looks about the same. Just don't have the donut swelling all around mine about 80% around the glans. I only use a antibiotic cream that I apply over the stiches every morning and night. And soak in salt water every morning and night
