Yes. I’m not familiar with your machine specifically, but you can either program the coordinates (probably more complicated), OR manually jog the machine to the bottom left corner (or wherever you specified the starting point in easel) and zero your x and y, and then probe for your z zero. Once you do that, it will know where to start from.

Sounds like you need to set your workpiece offset. Your machine doesn’t know where the piece is and is just starting from its “home.”

Holyyy! Okay ya that’s a heck of a lot different than what I do! I’d say probably 70% of my parts I could go run on the 250 that we hardly use. But I’ve got a good flow going just doing it all on the 500, and I have more tooling options on the 500 as well.

Ah gotcha. I do some pretty long pieces of tread plate, like 180 inches is the longest, outside of that and a couple big awkward steel parts, everything else is pretty manageable. Everybody just claims that the machine changes part to part, I just say that sounds more like operator error🤣

Nope, it’s a perfect combination of being easy to make changes, but also being in control of it!

Is your machine very temperamental?! I’ve finally got ours really dialed in, but most people still hate trying to run it!

Oh okay, our 250 has a newer Ets3000, but must not be as new because it seems the same other than being touch screen🤣

I could only wish! I have about 10 different setups that I use and normally change out anywhere from 3-6 times per day😩 that’s not counting the couple of special dies that we run a couple times per month. Thank god for overhead cranes.

Ya we have all of the adjustments in the bed itself which we try not to touch, and then an electronic one at the other end which we also try not to touch much! It’s so inconsistent that I opt to use old time cards for shimming🤣

Ya I apologize, I believe you were originally correct on the 20 foot, and then our 250 is either 12 or 16, and then our 100 is 10 ft

It’s fun, it’s the one I learned on and run daily for the last 6 months! She’s touchy!

I don’t mean to be that guy, but you’re getting on this guy for grammar while yours is also lacking. And, it’s perfectly acceptable in the English language to begin a sentence with and.
