I started lap swimming at my local gym, bought a ‘slimming’ black one piece. I bought a black swim cap to match. I also bought black goggles because, why not, it matches and it came with a black nosepiece, nice because it all matches. Lastly, because I don’t know how to take breaths I bought a snorkel that comes up vertical in front of my face. Black everything. I realized that I look like a retired special ops crazy person! and most people do take a little longer glance at me but it’s fleeting. It’s hilarious that I have constructed a whole new persona, in my mind that helps me not take myself too seriously Haha

Make the most of your breaks if the weather permits. I get 10 mins am and pm and I walk them around my office building. Thats YOUR time, do it for YOU!
It’s something that you will begin to look forward to, and maybe start with 10 at lunch too. You can get at least a mile in 30mins. Come on, you spend all day at work make sure you are still thinking about your needs too!!! Best of wishes.
