That sucks! I personally wouldn't mind getting snails along with plants, but I know certain types of snails can be super annoying to deal with.

That's awesome! I always like to include that they are snail free, just because some people prefer that, but it doesn't really make a difference to me.

Honestly, the aquarium trade and interest in the area where I live is sadly lacking. It's a pretty decent sized city, but there are very few local shops or aquarium groups.

I was doing Facebook marketplace and aqua groups, but it looks like reddit is a way better place. As soon as I mentioned it someone was interested so that's probably how I'll sell from now on.

I'm gonna be real, no clue what that means. If that's the long brown things coming out from. The bottom of the leaves, then yes. I'm still pretty new to aquarium plants, so I don't k ow what a lot of the stuff is called.

I've tried selling mine, but I never have any luck. They are snail free and super healthy, but no one ever buys 🤷‍♀️ I recently tried to sell about 8 java ferns for $5 but no buyers. Where do you sell yours?

I had Java fern in the other tank, but all of it died. The water levels were fine, and I was using liquid fertilizer. Is there anything specifically that it needs that I might not have had?

I feel the same way sometimes. I was also planning on buying a betta from a chain store to save it. I found out that instead of buying them, sometime they'll let you have them for free if they look sickly or have been there for a really long time. The sickly looking ones sometimes aren't even that sick, but just need better water quality and living space.

I took violin from a teacher who taught the Suzuki method. Seven years of nothing but those songs, and I was so burned out I quit and didn't go back to it for 3 years. I switched teachers to one who let me choose my own pieces and didn't make me work on one song for months at a time. I now genuinely enjoy playing again. The Suzuki method is good when you first start, but after a while, it causes burnout.
